|Minimum Stay||2 - 3 nights|
All beds are thick new mattresses with allergen protective wraps. None of mattresses are thin bunk type. The cabin is located on a hill side with a view over Mt. Hermon and to the distant Santa Cruz mountains (more like large hills). The rented area is the first floor of the cabin. The second floor is not available for rent (it has separate access up the hill and is used by the owner occasionally). The rented area is about 25 steps up from the driveway. The cabin is spaced away from neighbors; rare spacing and privacy for Mt. Hermon. Also rare for Mt. Hermon is the availability of 4 parking spaces. The cabin was totally remodeled in the spring of 2013. Included is a large deck, shaded by tall trees, that is great for out door eating, relaxing, and activities. On the deck is a large table for outdoor meals and a propane fired Weber grill.
Each bedroom and main room have electric heaters in the wall. Each room has a closet plus dresser or a dresser. The cabin has the following beds: Room 1: queen bed, Room 2: double bed and twin size bed ( in form of bunk bed) plus two twin beds (in form of bunk bed), Room 3: two twin size beds ( in form of a bunk bed). Bathroom has a tub with a shower over tub.
The kitchen has a refrigerator (no freezer), a stove, toaster, coffee maker, a microwave, and a large sink with garbage disposal. A separate large refrigerator with freezer is available by the garage. Kitchen pots and pans and utensils are available. Plates and forks/knives/spoons are available. A washer and dryer is available in the rental unit for washing sheets and towels during the week.
During the weeks in the summer that Mount Hermon Conference Center offers family camps (mid June to about Aug 25) our cabin is available for 6 nights, Sunday through Friday night out on Sat AM, or 7 nights, Sunday through Sat night out on Sun AM. Other times of the year any nights are available with a two night minimum.

Carol and Lee lived full time in Los Gatos California until they founded Wing Haven in Ohio. They purchased Arbor House to have a California home to also continue to be close to family members who live in California. They love Mount Hermon having participated in Mount Hermon conferences with their family for 30 years.
Carol and Lee fell in love with Arbor House because of its location in beautiful Mount Hermon and its uniquely beautiful site on a hillside among trees with pleasant views and space from neighbors.
Our family of 4 love to take trips with our family friends who are a family of 4. So we booked this nice place to get away from our everyday lives. It is a very nice place with great places to hike, wonderful views and only a 15-20 minutes away from the Santa Cruz boardwalk. The house space is very tight, it's not really a 3 bedrooms, it's more like 2 and an extra bed as you enter the house which is open to the kitchen. Plus only one bathroom which was really hard with two families (7 people). It was a tight fit but we made it work and the couple who rents it is great.
31 Pine Avenue is located in the town of Mount Hermon, the heart of which is the Mount Hermon Christian Conference Center. Great speakers and activities. The grounds are hilly covered with tall trees with beautiful hiking trails. Zyante Creek is a fabulous place to hike, wade in the stream, canoe, and enjoy spectacular nature scenes. The Roaring Camp railroad is nearby for those who enjoy a ride on old steam trains. And the Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park next door has some of the most beautiful tall redwood trees on the central coast. The deck of 31 Pine provides a relaxing place to look at the trees, hills, and birds.
