Great week in Banff/Jasper

  • 4 of 5
The cabin was everything we expected it to be.Comfortable and cozy and very quiet. The location is off the beaten path and you should buy groceries before heading to Nordegg.
We loved the outdoor fire ring, the indoor fireplace was easy to manage and there was wood enough for a year ;)
The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean and tidy.
There were only three minor issues we weren't so crazy about: two many flies ( but I guess there's always one critter issue,if you live in the middle of the woods) ,no closet space in the bedroom, and there was no internet service during our stay.
Aside from these, if you're looking for a comfortable place to stay while getting away from it all, surrounded by nature ( and very few neighbors), this is a great place.

The Perfect Hideaway

  • 5 of 5
We had a great time at the cabin. It was very homey and comfortable. We found the cabin to be clean and well maintained. Wifi was not working during our stay although it gave us an opportunity to come together as a family and our kids did well without internet for the week. With a 17 year old and a 10 year old it is hard to find something to please everyone but the hideaway cabin had something for everyone with the TV for my son to watch movies and a great outdoor space for my daughter to burn energy. We would love to come back to this property and hope to plan another stay soon!

Mountain getaway

  • 4 of 5
Our family of four (2 teens, 2 adults, 1 dog) stayed three nights at this Hideaway Cabin in July. The weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed lots of hiking in the area and morning coffee in the sun on the deck. The cabin is very nicely decorated and has everything a person could need for a home away from home. There was even a water dish for the dog! The property was very well-maintained and the owners were available by email and phone. While it does sleep 10, there are really only beds for 4 adults, the rest of the beds are bunk beds, a futon and an air mattress, which are more suitable for younger children. I would definitely recommend this property to any family looking for a family-friendly property only 3 1/2 hours from Edmonton.

Beautiful Cabin with Everything You Could Need

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I got married on the morning of the June 27th and then rented this cabin to host our wedding reception weekend. It was a small group of less than 24. We had 10 people sleep in the cabin and the remaining people set up tents on the property. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the community and the cabin itself. The cabin is rustic and open. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need for a weekend getaway. The porch wraps around the whole cabin with plenty of sitting room and space. The yard is spacious (room for games) plus a fire pit with a literal wall of wood to burn. We didn't even come close to running out. It rained a good part of our weekend, but this wasn't a bother in the slightest as we had the porch to sit on, as well as a cozy cabin to sit in with a fantastic wood stove.
Throughout the weekend we were approached by close to all of our guests who told us that this had been the best reception they had ever attended. This had a big part to do with our fantastic accommodations. My suggestion to people that might be entertaining a larger group is be prepared to have a plan to dispose of bottles and cans. We were unable to bring everything with us and had to leave a lot behind which creates extra work for the cleaners, etc.
We would come back again in a heartbeat. I think it would be the perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary for many years to come!

Cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5
This place was just fantastic, private, clean, adorable, stocked full of everything you can possibly need. The renter's weren't looking over your shoulder the entire stay, in fact we didn't even meet her until the last day (which is a shame). Yea, absolutely loved the place 10/10 would go back.
