My wife and I stayed in this Powderhorn Condo for 4 nights celebrating our anniversary. The place was very clean, close to the lifts and plenty of room for our next trip with kids. Brighton is 2 minutes away, which has amazing terrain as well. I believe we saw one person in the hallway our entire time there. Not sure why, but this property was next to empty. We had a great time and will most certainly be back!
The property was exactly as described: clean, spacious, well-stocked kitchen, fireplace, etc. The location at Solitude is awesome. You walk 100 yards to the Apex lift and start your day. There's plenty of underground parking for your vehicle. Only minor issues came up (no batteries in the TV remote), but who cares about stuff like that when the slopes are the reason for the trip. The owner was VERY cooperative with check-in and check-out times and the whole reservation process. I look forward to staying at this property again.
This fit the bill perfectly for our stay. Great location---close to slopes and all amenities. Very clean, very efficient layout to unit. Equipped with all basics for cooking etc. Very comfortable and enough room for us, as well as our 2 daughters. The "den" is really an alcove, but it served its purpose, as we were on the slopes most of the time. The unit was just as represented online. We would definitely rent it again. A few very minor issues cropped up, but were addressed with owner. Unit sleeps 6 with pullout sofa, but 6 might be a crowd but still doable. We would certainly recommend this unit to friends/family.
This condo is perfectly suited for a family of 4 (two adults, two kids). The king size bed is very nice, the bunk bed system worked well for my two children. The kitchen has everything you need. The bathroom sink needs to be "snaked" and the cold water knob on the faucet needs tightening, but these are very small issues that I could have fixed had I had some tools and a wire coat hanger. the slopes are an easy walking distance, Club Solitude was great for our family, and Solitude Ski resort was basically all to ourselves. The lift ticket prices were adjusted for lack of open terrain, but even with 4 lifts open, we had all the skiiing we could handle. Would I use this place again? Yes. The owner priced this unit competitively, and because of this, he earned our business. Many owners don't get prices and "supply and demand." This one does.
