Weddings, receptions, and hosted events have a three night minimum but there is no additional charge for an event. The event must be disclosed and approved ahead of hosting.
We purchased this property and have developed the camp Baseball Country over the last 18 years. We wanted to share the wonderful atmosphere with traveling teams, family groups, and church groups in our 'off season.' Please see calendar for availability.
Owner/property manager purchased this estate in 1995
Kenny grew up in ralph and the land is simply beautiful, and this parcel was flat which we needed for the fields. Kenny is a retired baseball coach. We are only 25 minutes from the UA campus and also 10 minutes from the Fosters exit of I59/20. We are also 20 minutes from the Northport area. We are a Christian Baseball Camp hosting boys all summer and teams and groups the rest of the year.
For everyone: stars, bonfire pit, nature complete with our roosters Merle and Conway, relaxation in the country, use of our cozy farmhouse for gathering, washing clothes, wifi or coffee on the screened loggia, rocking on the front porch, pick veggies in season and take them home!
For teams: Regulation sprinklerfed baseball field (Cornisky) with corn for the outfield (Field of Dreams style), lighted wiffle ball field (Henway), smaller little league size field (Wiggly), indoor batting cages / gym/ practice facility, outdoor batting pavilion, equipment and if desired instruction, accommodations at a place you will never forget at a budget price compared to sleeping this many people in hotels.
Our onsite camp has a firepit for bonfires, lighted wiffle ball field for night play, two regulation pristine baseball fields, indoor facility with turf (new) with ping pong and foosball, board games. Outdoors features covered pavilion, horseshoe game, tire swing, volleyball, basketball. 50 acres for hiking and exploring. We have found arrowheads and civil war relics in the past.
