Delightful home in quiet neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable home, nestled in a wooded, hilly neighborhood with winding roads. The fresh cut cherry blossom twigs in the entryway were a nice touch! We enjoyed meals on the back deck during warmer days, and the warmth of the gas fireplace on colder days. The large screen TV above the fireplace was a nice upgrade. All of the beds were super comfy with high quality sheets and down comforters. It is close to downtown, restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed a few walks around the neighborhood and shot some hoops at the park across the street. We also saw two of the wild turkeys, that one reviewer mentioned, while driving back to the house one day. The owner was very nice and responded to any questions we had before and during our trip. We enjoyed eating at Moe's Original BBQ, White Duck Taco Shop, El Que Pasa, and 12 Bones. We also had fun hiking Mt. Pisgah, seeing waterfalls in DuPont Forest, traversing the ropes courses at Asheville Treetops Adventure, playing for hours at the Pinball Museum, touring Moog Music, riding the bus of the hilarious La Zoom Comedy Tour, and visiting the Sierra Nevada Brewery. With all of the fun and activities, it was a joy to come this comfy, quiet abode each night!

Great home in Asheville

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in the little house on the hill. The house was well equipped, comfortable, and a short drive to downtown. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Asheville.

Nice little house close to everything

  • 5 of 5

While small, it makes the best use of it's space, with two well sized and outfitted bedrooms, a comfortable living area, and a very nice and large kitchen. Selfishly I would have liked a bigger tv and have it over the fireplace, but for the time we spent in the house, it was totally fine. The location is in a quiet residential neighborhood up the hill from Biltmore Village and the Biltmore Estates, and a 5 minute drive from downtown. The beds were very comfortable, the fireplace added nice ambiance, and the full kitchen with premium appliances was a nice touch. Way better than staying in a hotel room.

Owner's Response: Hi Blake, Thanks so much for your feedback. I purchased today! It will be professionally mounted above the fireplace within the week. I went down and checked out the tv after receiving your review and couldn't have agreed more. It's really too small and the color seemed off. Hope you'll come back again so you can enjoy the new tv. Thanks, Amanda

Cozy home in a great neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was a cold week so the fire was enjoyed in the evenings and mornings, made for a cozy spot. The kitchen is well stocked with nice pots and pans and a gas stove. House is charming and very welcoming. Close to downtown and the new Whole Foods, great location. Definitely will be staying again. Good to know bring your own shampoo and conditioner.

Fabulous house and great location for all that Asheville had to offer

  • 5 of 5

This is an adorable house with great charm. When we arrived we opened the door to a wonderful fire going in the fireplace. Such a warm and welcoming and inviting home especially on such a cold dreery day. I would recommend and stay here again. My only suggestion to you Amanda is that we needed more wash clothes. There were only two and that the front bedroom have some darker curtains and the side window in the back bedroom. The street lights and the neighbors porch lights shine in the windows causing the rooms to be way to light at night. Other than that the stay was perfect!!
