This is a very special area, untouched, in the country side, at the south skirt of the mountains. It's a protected area, very interesting for long wild walks, swims in the different natural rivers, fishing, bird watching.
The property is 5 minute walk to a very impressive little lake, and it's build in the middle of the trees. The access is by a mountain road, 2 kms from the main road.
There are two villages near, one 3 km far away, Madrigal, and the other 7 km, Villanueva de la Vera. There are several places for riding, children welcome, and there is a golf course 6 km far away. There are kayak trips, in the river and in a big lake.
As places of interest, there is very near a Celtic village, and medieval villages, as Valverde de la Vera, Jarandilla de la Vera, Cuacos de Yuste, where the famous king Carolos the fifth died. A bit further are Plasencia, Cáceres, Oropesa de Toledo, Guadalupe, Mérida, Toledo, Avila, all in a day distance from our place. Madrid is 180 km.
