Enjoy the romantic thatched house in the middle of quite and peaceful surroundings. The living room and the terrace offer a fantastic view of the lighthouses at Cape Arkona and of the chapel of the old fishing village Vitt. A large chimney, the exclusive furnishings and our sauna will make your stay a relaxing and pleasurable experience. The spacious living room (43m²/463sqft) with an open kitchen and the two bedrooms on the upper floor offer a large amount of space. Two bathrooms with easily accessible showers help getting everybody ready for breakfast. Our kitchen is fully equipped. For relaxed or rainy days there are books, games, satellite TV and a DVD player for you to enjoy. For children there is a large garden and a sandbox to play in, parents can relax in our roofed wicker beach chair and on the terrace. The cliff of the beach Nordstrand is 1 km (0.6 mi) away, as well as the lighthouses, which can be visited. In Juliusruh there is a guarded beach with roofed wicker beach chairs

The house is situated in the north of the island Rügen. Together with the mountain Zugspitze and the island Hiddensee, this is the sunniest place of Germany! In Putgarten, cars are only allowed for inhabitants and guests, and the house is situated at a dead end, which makes it an especially quite and nice place. At a distance of only 1km (0.6mi) you will find the lighting houses, which offer a fantastic view and exhibitions, an old Slavic castle, the historic fishing village Vitt and the romantic beach Nordstrand (with a nature reserve, white sand beaches, fishing opportunities). In Putgarten there are various restaurants, in Altenkirchen a supermarket (7km/4,3mi away). For fans of nature and bikes there are plenty of possibilities: the national park with the chalk cliffs made famous by Caspar David Friedrich's paintings, the endless beaches of the Schaabe, many miles of bike paths and thousands of migrating birds in spring and autumn. Boat trips can be booked in Breege and Saßnitz

  • Prices for bookings of less than one week: please contact us. In addition to the rental fee, we charge 60€ for the final cleaning. The charge of putting up the baby cot is 10 €.
  • VAT is included and is stated separately on the bill. Visitor's tax is not included. 100 € deposit.
  • Water, heating and waste disposal are included in the price. Electricity (including electricity used for heating the sauna) will be charged at a price of 0.22 Euro per kWh. We only charge the cost price, that is, we only charge what the power supply company charges us. If you don't like to bring your own bed linen or towels, we are happy to lend them to you. The price for bed linen is 6 € per person, a towel set (bath towel and hand towel) 4 € per person. A sauna towel will be provided for 4 € per person. Table clothes and dish towels are included.

  • The bathroom at the ground floor is equipped with a sauna, which can be used as a finnish or steam sauna. It is suitable for 2 to 3 people. Easily accessible showers in both bathrooms and a shower seat in the upper bathroom provide extra comfort for seniors.

  • Bedroom 1 has a double bed. The rigidness of the slatted frames as well as the angle of the bed head can be adjusted. The room has a French window facing southeast and a wonderful view of the fields and the small chapel of the fishing village Vitt. A baby cot is available for bedroom 1. In bedroom 1 there is a closet and a small desk with a satellite-TV/radio port. Bedroom 2 is situated at the northeast of the house and has a French window, as well. Here, you will find a single bed (with adjustable slatted frames and bed head) and a single bed that is extendable and then can be used by two. A small table, wicker chairs and a wardrobe complete the furnishings. Like in Bedroom 1, there is a satellite-TV/radio port.

Delivery service: fresh rolls, cake and beverages : If you like to enjoy a breakfast with fresh rolls, we recommend our delivery service: the Spreer bakery brings fresh rolls, cake and beverages directly to your vacation home at about 8 a.m. if you order the day before or at the same day till 5 a.m. You can pay cash at the end of your stay or by direct debit so you can sleep in. This service is available on all days of the week, including Sundays and public holidays. Delivery is free and the prices are not higher than if you went to a bakery yourself. If you place the order at the day of your arrival, you can enjoy fresh rolls and beverages already on your first morning. Other possibillities for shopping you'll find in Altenkirchen (two supermarkets, a bank, a flower shop, a bakery, a butcher's shop, a drug store, a department store, a post office and a pharmacy).

Rent a bike: We have a special offer for cyclists who have to leave their bike at home: the bikes you rent will be delivered to your vacation home and after your cycling tour they will be picked up there again. Wittow-Bike offers high-quality Kreidler and Hercules aluminum bicycles suitable for use on roads and tracks, with suspension and 7-speed hub gear and Bergamont mountain bikes. Bicycles for children and bicycle trailers are also available.

Boat trips to Cape Arkona - for fun or for fishing: A special treat are boat trips from the fishing village Vitt (1,5 km/ 0.9 mi away from the vacation home) to the Baltic Sea, for example in front of Cape Arkona. If the weather allows it, the company 'Bootsverleih Vitt' rents out rowboats and motorboats. For motorboats you generally need a boat permit for the sea. Boats of 5, 25 and 40 hp are available. If you do not have a boat permit, using boats with 5 hp is possible. For fishing, boats can be rented for whole days at favorable prices.

Wir haben ein wunderschönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus vorgefunden. Sogar ein netter Willkommensgruß zum verspeisen war vorhanden. Die Aufteilung ist durchdacht und die Ausstattung ist liebevoll ausgewählt. Es mangelte an nichts! Kamin, Sauna, Strandkorb, voll ausgestattete Küche und und und...
Dies war bereits unser vierter Aufenthalt in Putgarten, aber das erste Mal in diesem Haus. Wir hoffen und denken, dass es nicht der letzte gewesen sein wird. Auch der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr freundlich und mit Tipps für den Aufenthalt gespickt. Also wir hoffen auf das nächste Mal in Putgarten.

Perfekter geht gar nicht

Wir durften eine wunderschöne Woche im November in diesem schönen und absolut perfekten Ferienhaus verbringen. Wir und unsere drei Kinder haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt - der Abschied ist allen schwer gefallen. Es ist wirklich an Alles gedacht - selbst Kleber und Schere für die Bastelbögen waren vorhanden. Nicht nur das Haus, auch die Umgebung ist empfehlenswert - auch in dieser Jahreszeit. Der nahegelegene Strand ist ein Paradies für Kinder - es gibt jede Menge Dinge zum Entdecken und Mitnehmen ......
Wir haben ganz fest vor, nochmal wieder zu kommen, auch wenn der Weg aus Bayern doch sehr weit ist ....

Ein perfektes Feriendomizil

Unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als erfüllt. Allein schon die Lage des Ferienhauses in der kleinen Siedlung mit dem freien Blick von den Leuchttürmen im Osten bis zum Sonnenuntergang im Westen ist gigantisch. Die Ferienwohnung ist perfekt und stilvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Ganz besonders muss man die Organisation und Struktur im Haus hervorheben. Zu jedem elektrischen Gerät gibt es eine detaillierte Beschreibung und Anleitung und durch die guten und übersichtlichen Informationen zu den alltäglichen Erledigungen findet man sich ganz schnell zurecht.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden das Feriendomizil gerne weiter empfehlen.

Schon bevor die Reise losging hatten wir Urlaubsfeeling. Vom Vermieter geschickte Informationen halfen uns bei der Anfahrt und Vorbereitung auf unseren Urlaub.
Von der ersten Minute an fühlten wir uns in unseren schönsten Wochen des Jahres pudelwohl.( Vielen, lieben Dank auch für den Willkommensgruß !!!)
An alles ist gedacht, das Haus lichtdurchflutet, mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, für Technikunbegabte alles gut erklärt - vom Radiowecker über die große Musikanlage....- , Kräuter im Korb vor der Haustür, Einrichtung der Küche besser als zu Hause,Strandkorb und Terasse mit Gartenmöbeln zum Entspannen.......
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, vielleicht auch mal im Winter, damit wir auch mal die Sauna ausprobieren können.
Urlaub auf der Insel Rügen im Sonnenkap ist traumhaft, danke für Alles !!!!

Wir haben in Putgarten einen super schönen Urlaub verbracht. Das Ferienhaus ist klasse, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Uneingeschränkt weiterzuempfehlen. Die Vermieter sind sehr bemüht einem vorab alles sehr gut zu erklären und in Putgarten übernimmt dies der Hausmeister-Service. Alles sehr gelungen.
