Born in Boston and love to travel, this is the perfect location.

Marie purchased this apartment in 2013

Very convenient to attractions, it is at the Freedom Trail and next to the Old North Church. It is also convenient to 3 subway stations, the financial district and MGH.

The old, charming building was gutted and rehabbed using high quality materials. One entire brick wall with two fireplaces gives it a quaint view. Modern with old charm.

More Than We Expected

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I decided to spend a weekend in Boston after visiting Grandchildren in Maine, before flying home to North Carolina. It was a last minute decision and I thought we could be making a mistake, since I typically spend much more time researching any properties to stay at. After reading the previous reviews, I promptly sent an email to Bed and Breakfast Associate Bay Colony. I received a call the next morning and was informed the property was available. The representative made all necessary arrangements for such a quick pick (we were flying out in two days!). She was professional, courteous, and pleasant. Still apprehensive, we arrived at the location. Wow! It was everything and more, as suggested by previous reviewers and promised by the rental agency! It is in the heart of the North End/Italian End of Boston. You walk out, and the Freedom Trail picks up across the street. Look right, and you will see the Old North Church with it's courtyard and Paul Revere statue. Right across the street and on the corner is a perfect coffee shop with excellent breakfast choices and service. You are steps away in the evening from great Italian food. Everything you need for Historic Boston is an enjoyable walk away. Since driving/parking in Boston can be both expensive and difficult, we returned our rental car after driving back from Maine to the airport and used the Subway system and/or walked to everything. Then, back at night to this perfect, clean, and truly, "more than we expected" studio apartment. Thank you to the previous reviewers and Bed and Breakfast Bay Colony for leading us to an excellent and much needed couple time away! We will definitely stay there again!

Hidden Gem

  • 5 of 5
This condo is a hidden gem! It was clean, well stocked, has a comfortable bed, plenty of tv channels and also wifi. Excellent location, you can walk or take the T to pretty much anywhere you want to go. Many, many restaurants, bakeries, little convenience stores and launderymats close by. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Excellent!!

  • 5 of 5
Excellent location, very clean, no complaints! My wife and I traveled to Boston for the week and found this rental rather than staying in a hotel. It was less expensive, cleaner, and close to everything. We were a little hesitant at first to go the vacation rental route, but this was all the description says and more. The apartment was clean, the location was awesome (you could really walk to most things or take a quick subway ride to everything else in the city). There are a TON of great restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to someone going to Boston for vacation as we were.

Perfect Location, Clean, and Cozy

  • 5 of 5
I recently went on vacation and had the pleasure of staying in this wonderful condo. It's location was perfect! Close to the subway terminals as well as the public transportation bus lines. Plus it was nice staying in the North End, you could just feel the history walking down the street.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first walked in to the condo. It was clean, had wifi, and plenty of storage space for all my gear. I will definitly be staying here next time I travel to Boston.

Great place in a great location!

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I stayed in this cozy apartment in Boston's North End on our first trip to Boston. The apartment was perfect. It was in a great location surrounded by several coffee shops, bakeries, and many Italian restaurants. It is just steps away from the Old North Church.

We arrived late at night, and had no trouble finding the apartment. It is only a 5 minute walk from the nearest T station, and within walking distance to many of Boston's attractions and Quincy Market. The building was quiet with no problems from the neighbors. The apartment was quaint and cozy. The photos very accurately describe the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, glasses, plates, utensils, and a full size refrigerator.

The apartment was very clean. It is plenty roomy for a couple, but would be pretty tight if you also had to use the pull out bed. The closet was huge, which gave us plenty of room to store our luggage.

I would recommend this apartment in a heartbeat, and I will definitely stay here again the next time I come to Boston!

Perfect location, comfortable accommodations, feel like a Bostonian!

  • 5 of 5
I had a wonderful stay in this little condo while I worked and attended a conference in the Seaport area. While this was by no means close to the convention center, I actually preferred it that way because it allowed me to get a real feel for the city without the typical tourist experience (and cost) of a chain hotel.

Transportation was totally easy to figure out - the train is an easy walk from the condo. Folks in the neighborhood are friendly and readily give advice on where to eat, shop, etc. (let the Mikes/Modern/Bova's bakery wars ensue!) The touristy downtown area is an easy walk, too.

The owner clearly cares greatly for the comfort and ease of people's stay. The sheets and towels and other amenities are great quality. There's a little guide with lots of tips for enjoying the neighborhood right there on the dining room table. And God bless the walk-in closet! Tons of room for all my things for the week and nice touches like an umbrella and lint remover.

The kitchen is great for someone trying to make the most of her per diem - I ate breakfast in almost every day and kept coffee and snacks, and perishables in the fridge. There's a Whole Foods not too far away that supplied my grocery needs that the corner markets couldn't meet. The restaurants nearby can't be beat.

Next time I'm in Boston, I will definitely book this cozy spot!
