The home opens to and open ‘great room’ living area and stylish kitchen. The slate floors are gorgeous, well set and provide a natural, elegant feel to the abode. The kitchen’s stove is a 5 burner with a range hood and a vision for those who like to cook. The refined cabinets and Silestone (natural quartz) countertops are beautifully done and there is plenty of space in the well-stocked kitchen. There is a walk in pantry with a wine fridge and custom ceiling lighting alongside ‘skytubes’ which incorporate natural lighting. The custom island kitchen has oak cabinets with two high chairs which creates a nice spot for conversation while the food cooks.
The kitchen eases into a large living room with modern furnishings and a tasteful fireplace. For those that want to stay connected there is a 47' LG flat screen TV in the living room and wireless DSL/internet available. Bring your own laptop and search for the ideal winery in the cozy office nook or elsewhere. The sliding doors open to a covered patio with sophisticated all weather seating, providing a great place to relax after a hard day of wine tasting. The backyard fence borders on Cyrus Creek which is lovely all year round. Tasteful outdoor lighting allows for extended outdoor entertainment during warmer evenings.
There is a separate, warm dining room to enjoy the wonderful natural bounty of Napa County and to share a bottle from that amazing winery that you just discovered. The rustic table is surrounded by four chairs and a bench to complement the lovely room. You can literally pick vegetables out of the garden to eat at your nearby table. A number of wall photos are from the owners’ travels around the globe.
The Master Bedroom is refined to the point that you probably won’t want to leave. It is spacious with wonderful king bed with high end mattress, beautiful furnishings, bamboo floors and even ceiling detail. A huge, modern, built out walk in closet allows you to really spread out. The bathroom is a thing of beauty – jetted tub, and double sinks with impeccable fixtures. The walk in slate shower sheltered behind the cabinet has a rain shower head and a hand held shower, both Grohe fixtures. Separate WC with its own door.
The design of this home is well thought out with the second and third bedroom at the opposite end of the living room from the master bedroom. The second bedroom has a door to the rear garden of the property. Among the lovely rustic furnishings (all lighter shades of brown) are a queen bed, 11” memory foam mattress on box spring, vibrant colored linens, chest of drawers/dresser, bedside table and a large armoire for clothes.
The third bedroom, with a modern, sleek, low profile queen bed (and 11” memory foam mattress on box spring) does not share a wall with either of the other two bedrooms and is roomy with tasteful hardwood floors. The room has contemporary shades of grey from the bed itself to the dresser and side table. Significant closet space. A good choice for a couple or alternatively as a children’s bedroom.
Separating the rustic and modern bedrooms is a fairly sizable bathroom. It contains a sleek modern sink with cabinets, WC, shower with tub and a large white cabinet stocked with towels. Easy access from the kitchen/living area.
Separate laundry room with new Samsung washer and dryer if you ever need them. Access to two car garage from this room. Did I mention great attention to detail?
Home home is wonderfully landscaped with multiple Walnut trees, an Olive tree gracing the front of the home, an Asian pear tree, multiple tomato plants in the vegetable garden and red chilies, if you dare.
