Parksville Cabin Rental Photos and Description
Family owned vacation property at end of cul-de-sac enjoyed by four generations
Enjoy a stay at our Cabin to experience the sights and sounds of the West Coast.
A vista of majestic snow capped mountains, glittering sunlight and long magenta sunsets awaits you.
Lapping waves, resident sea lions and wind soughing through fir, oak and arbutus trees provide you with nature’s lulling symphony.
Unwind on our large wrap-around sundeck complete with Webber BBQ, picnic bench, market umbrella and ample seating. Observe our resident feathered friends including bald eagles, herons, gulls, kingfishers, woodpeckers, chickadees and juncos.
A cozy haven to enjoy winter storms, the Cabin’s living area includes vaulted ceiling, glowing wood beams, flat screen HD T.V. and brick fireplace with thermostat controlled gas insert.
The cabin delivers an authentic ambiance along with all the modern conveniences including three bedrooms (queen, queen and bunk bed), one bathroom (tub/shower) and a large living-dining-kitchen area with spectacular views.
The kitchen is well stocked and we ask that our VBRO guests kindly replace items that they deplete during their stay.
Located at the end of a cul-de-sac the one acre lot is family-friendly with plenty of lawn for boccie, badminton, Frisbee and more. The quite streets nearby are ideal for leisurely family walks to Beachcomber Park, Beachcomber Marina or around “The Point”.

About Brian Mann
We live in Victoria two hours from our vacation property. We opened the Cabin to paying guests in the Fall of 2013.
Brian Mann purchased this cabin in 1960
Why Brian Mann chose Parksville
I was four years old when my parents purchased the land and I have enjoyed it ever since. My wife and I have vacationed here with family and friends for almost 30 years. We have proudly maintained the Cabin's West Coast ambiance while installing all the comforts of home.
What makes this cabin unique
This is one of the few properties on the inland coast of Vancouver Island with a southwest sun catching exposure. The Cabin is surrounded by fir, oak and arbutus trees. Enjoy views of mountains and sunlight reflecting off the water until sunset or walk to Beachcomber Regional Park.
Guestbook comments from the owner
Glorious view, beautiful accommodations! Loved every minute of it. This place would be great even in the rain! (For some reason, we only had sunshine in March!) Cabin is really well equipped: the kitchen has more spices, vinegars, ingredients, pots and pans, etc., etc., than I have at home and I am an enthusiastic cook. As a result we only bothered to eat out maybe once every other day. Note: no dishwasher (water is ‘way too precious around there for that) but the sink is directly in front of a view of the bay - the fabulous view makes doing the washing up painless!!
Bathroom has spares of everything you might forget and there is a ton of spare, clean bedding. The welcome was genuine, and our vacation was everything we had hoped for.
As it is a Pan-abode, the bedrooms are not huge. The beds are, however, very comfortable and the sofa bed in the front room has loads of space around it.
My wife and I look forward to visiting again!
