Beautiful two bedroom property in Highland Perthshire estate with hot tub

The newly refurbished Oak Cottage is a luxury retreat for four people with sensational views over Loch Tay and the surrounding meadows and woodlands.

The cottage is furnished luxuriously and has a modern kitchen with everything you need on a self catering break. The views from the twin and master bedrooms are stunning. Both bathrooms are equipped with spacious walk in power showers to revive our guests after a day on the mountains, and the master bathroom also has a deep free-standing bath from which to soak in the views of the magnificent scenery!

Outside Oak Cottage is a bubbling hot tub, the perfect place to enjoy the magical views over the Loch Tay scenery. There is also a BBQ and garden furniture outside the cottage.
About Greg Deakin

We live in Scotland with our two young children and operate a holiday cottage business on the shores of Loch Tay in the Scottish Highlands and a ski chalet business in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Our properties range in style, age and size - they range from renovated farm steadings to alpine chalets, but all have a great sense of homeliness, and beautiful views, as well as lots of little luxuries to help everyone unwind and enjoy their holidays, no matter how old or young they may be!

The reason we love Loch Tay is because it is such a fantastic location for holidays and there is so much to do in the area, no matter the time of the year. Oak Cottage can be reached in just two hours from Glasgow or Edinburgh, but is still tucked away from the buzz of daily life. The newly refurbished property is light and spacious, yet cosy and one cannot help being impressed by the lovely views from the glass fronted living and dining areas, (as well as from the hot tub) over the surrounding meadows, and Loch Tay, which make it a very special place.

What makes this cottage unique

Loch Tay offers guests numerous opportunities for fishing (from our shores), climbing (we are located at the foot of the mighty Ben Lawers mountain), boating on the loch, visiting castles, distilleries, golf and all just on our doorstep! The cottage itself offers a spacious, homely and peaceful retreat to relax at the end of the day after all of these activities with a well deserved glass of wine from the bubbling hot tub.

Oak Cottage is located within the grounds of a 40 acre Highland estate called Craggantoul with rolling meadows, orchards, duck pond, ancient oak forest with winding trails down to Loch Tay, where we have fishing rights for trout.

The property is situated deep within Highland Perthshire with adventure and walking, biking, mountaineering and water sports activities right on the doorstep!

Oak Cottage is a beautiful newly refurbished log cabin with two spacious double ensuite bedrooms and a large open plan kitchen, living and dining area. Both bathrooms have walk in power showers and the master bathroom also has a stunning roll top bath tub from which to soak in the views of the meadows and Loch Tay. Doors open from the living area and from the master en suite bathroom onto a spacious decking area for easy access to the private hot tub and where guests can enjoy the idyllic beauty of the estate, with unrivalled views over the loch and surrounding meadows.

Beautiful cottage in scenic location

We were lucky enough to book this last minute and had an amazing 4 nights stay at this lovely cottage. Very well furnished and decorated. Everything was cleaned to a high standard, felt like we were the first visitors! Views of the loch and big hot tub were an added bonus.
Would definitely recommend the property and hope we will be able to stay there again in the near future.
