Stayed for 7 nights on a ski vacation. Conveniently located to the mountain. The unit has been beautifully renovated and was very clean. Great shower and great bed. The public spaces were well kept and the hot tub area was very nice. Close to the bus route, you do not need a car, easily to get anywhere on the bus system.
Stayed in this unit on a 3 day non skiing getaway. It is beautifully appointed and comfortable. It is also in a great location and loved that we had inside parking. Highly recommend staying whether you are skiing or just visiting. Enjoyed pizza at Beau Jo's, loved our breakfast at the Creekside Cafe and could not get enough of Mahogany Ridge Brewery, went there for dinner two nights in a row. The highlight of our trip was visiting Strawberry Park Hot Springs, so peaceful relaxing and beautiful. Looking forward to staying here again during our next trip to Steamboat Springs.
My daughter and I stayed over while looking at properties. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the condo. Great shower, and bed.
Loved the location of this property and it's recent remodel is terrific. Lovely smaller condo - perfect for couples. Just a few upgrades would make this stay excellent...better linens, pillows would make a huge difference! A dvd player would have been wonderful. Tissues, and travel size soap, shampoo etc. would have saved us a trip to the City Market. Perhaps the most missed item was no access to shuttle services...every other property I've stayed at in SB offered shuttle service to and from the great restaurants and shops downtown.
This condo is beautifully updated, clean, comfortable and very conveniently located for walking to the main ski area and the restaurants/shopping in that locale. A short drive gets you to groceries, additional restaurants, shopping, and downtown attractions. The complex amenities like the hot tub, covered parking, and equipment storage are definitely added pluses. We do think this condo is more aptly suited for a couple, two adults with two small to medium children, or three people. The pull out sofa just didn't work well for two teenagers. There are a few additional suggestions we would offer to make this great rental even better. The kitchen needs a colander and dishes service for more than four (6-8) would make meal/snack time simpler. The knives are quite dull and, therefore, more dangerous. It would be lovely to have a spot conducive to game playing for four, like fours chairs that fit the round counter or a living room rug in front of the coffee tables. A rug would also be helpful if needing to bed a kid down on the floor. We brought along a sleeping bag because we have encountered tight spaces for sleeping with two teenagers before and, thankfully, brought a pad as well or it may have been intolerable for our son. Overall, this condo can certainly meet the needs of those who are there to be active in all that Steamboat has to offer or for those wanting to relax indoors.
The villa is BEAUTIFUL! Walking into the villa took our breath away.. Custom tile flooring, updated appliances, fully stocked kitchen, AMAZING ski town USA stain glass and the bathrooms are filled with marble counter tops, mirrors, custom tile and a RAIN shower! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION right in the heart of steamboat! We could walk to the restaurants like bear grill, slope side, and more! Also the shopping at gondola square and ski time square was walking distance. BUT most of all SKI IN SKI OUT. Easy locker access at the front door and the Christy lifts are just across the street to hit the gondola up! Very easy and convenient for my entire family. The hot tub at the villa is just what you need at the end of the day of skiing which this villa has to offer. This villa and the owners of this villa has everything that you will need for a relaxing easy ski vacation.
