Most Kinsale properties are in the center of the town with front doors opening onto the streets. Our house is positioned in the middle of Castlepark village. It is within a 60 seconds walk to the beach, the marina and about 40 seconds to the pub (A little longer on the way back depending on how many 'Pints' you had). A nice ground floor property comprising of a very large open plan lounge, dining room, kitchen, with 2 bedrooms and a main bathroom.
Unique features include vaulted ceilings with exposed timbers and plenty of natural light. Our house can accommodate up to 4 people. At Castlepark you have a choice of courtyard, lawn, beach, marina and pub all at your doorstep. Or try the many restaurants in Kinsale which is only a few minutes drive.
Castlepark is uniquely positioned in Kinsale, the development itself has won many awards and was most recently referenced in Journal of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (May 2007).

Good accommodation suitable for a family is very hard to find in Kinsale itself. This was our fourth family holiday to Kinsale but our first stay so close to town and Castlepark was an absolute find for us. The house itself is of 'superior' quality as the advert suggested. Beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and possessing every facility one could require . . . the house has a very homely interior. The owners provided a very good and personalised service from beginning to end. As a family we were spoiled for choice and enjoyed fabulous meals in some of Kinsale's many good restaurants. Our boys enjoyed a week of watersports with Kinsale Outdoor adventure Education Centre whilst we enjoyed long scenic walks to points of historic interest. We would highly recommend this house and in fact re-booked the day we left for next year.
Our second time, and I hope not our last, in this gem of a holiday house just 2km from the centre of Kinsale. The house is beautiful and fully equipped. The small private development at the Dock marina, with direct private access to the only Beach in Kinsale, is beautifully designed and maintained. The owners, Noel and Liz, provide a very personalised service leaving nothing wanting for your holiday stay. Our 10 year old son availed of a water sports camp with a local water sports school for the 3rd year running and loved it. Our 13 year old son enjoyed windsurfing and deep sea diving activities arranged from kinsale harbour. And we enjoyed magnificent guided walks and cycling tracks to the many historical sites in and around Kinsale. The whole family was spoilt for choice with the rich array of restaurants and cafe's to eat in during our stay. I would want to stay nowhere else whenever I holiday in Kinsale! Booking already for next year. Thank you Noel and Liz, Fiona Gerry and Boys
The two bedroom cottage was terrific! The place was absolutely spotless, very nicely decorated, nice kitchen and a well furnished and very comfortable living room. The cottage is a pleasant 25 to 30 minute walk to the center of Kinsale. The cottage is also a very short walk to a beach as well as to the ruins of an old fort. The Dock pub is about a one minute walk from the cottage; THe Dock is a very pleasant and hospitable place.
If you don't feel like walking to or from Kinsale, a taxicab ride costs about 8 Euros and takes just a few minutes..With regard to local attractions: Kinsale itself is a great little town; Man Friday and Fishy Fishy are great places to eat.
The owners were very helpful. In all respects, we were completely satisfied with this rental.
Perfect location. Just a 5 minute taxi journey from the centre of Kinsale (8 euros) or a pleasant 25 minute stroll.
The photos don't do the house justice. It is much bigger, bright and airy than it looks in the photos. Noel and Liz were there to greet us and show us around the house which was a nice touch. The house is well equipped with everything you would need.
The Dock Inn pub is great for a drink and only a minute's walk away. Kinsale itself is fantastic with great pubs and restaurants and everyone is very friendly. Try Finn's Table. Hoby's or the Bulman Inn for great food.
Hi, Rosemary and I had a wonderful time in Ireland and were very pleased with your home. It is located perfectly -close to Kinsale , but out of the mainstream. We would recommend it to our family and friends. I hope to return to Ireland again in the future. Thanks again

We had a great time. What a lovely place. We really enjoyed it. So close to the beach. Mackerel fishing at night with the kids. Kayaking, walks, swims... lovely!
Liz and Noel's house sits within a few yards of a great communal garden and a lovely beach. Rock pools, the sea and a very clean, well looked after beach 30 seconds from the front door = 2 very happy children. When you come off the beach, The Dock pub is 100 yards away and provides a well needed pint of Beamish.
The accommodation is comfortable, well looked after and has everything you need for a self catering holiday.
A 5 minute drive and you are in the middle of Kinsale with all it has to offer, plus you are also well placed for day trips down to West Cork or Ring of Kerry.
Great place and excellent hosts. I'm sure we will be back.
