Guestbook comments from the owner
"My aunt, uncle, and I recently stayed at Shawn's downtown bend apartment (Summit) and had a great experience. When making the reservation, Shawn replied within a couple of hours, and my reservation was confirmed by the next day. I received an email with descriptive directions including phone numbers which he can be reached at. We did not need to use the number because the directions were very clear. There is a lock box for the keys which makes retrieving the keys very easy. When we arrived, they had the fire place going and some lights on making it very welcoming. The place was extremely clean and nicely decorated. There were two full bathrooms and enough basic supplies for cooking. We used the king bed and murphy bed which were both very comfortable and there is a leather sofa that could be used as a bed too. It was cold in Bend when we stayed there, but there is a porch and grill for nice weather. The beginning of downtown is about a 10 minute walk at a leisurely pace. If you prefer not to walk on the main road, there is a trail along the river that will get you there. It is also very close driving distance to national forests parks and trails."
