Access to a 150 sq.m. stunning vine covered patio full of roses, plants and small trees. Free internet WiFi and phone calls available during the whole stay. Apartment is located on second floor, accessible by an easy stair of 30 steps - check-in person will provide help with luggage.
Fully equipped open kitchen with sitting/preparing area, living room with sofa-double-bed, bedroom with 2 single beds (36in x 84in / 0.90m x 2m) that can be pushed together to make for a double king size bed (72in × 84in / 1.80m × 2m), bathroom with washing machine and spacious walk-in shower.
To access the apartment you walk through a magical green patio full of flowers and shrubbery: romantic, quiet and still just a couple of minutes to all the places of interest that Madrid offers: Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, Plaza Mayor, el Rastro, Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, several bars, restaurants, stores and entertainment venues - flamenco dance, clubs, and live show cafes.
Alternative museums like Casa Encendida, CaixaForum, Tabacalera and Matadero are strung in a 15 minutes walk radius.
Brand new and highly recommendable is Madrid Rio: the 650 ha. large and 10 km long park alongside the Manzanares river, where cyclists and families meet skateboarders and dog-walkers.
The apartment is easily and quickly accessible to the apartment by public transport: 2 subway lines (line 1 and 3), several bus stops; 4 guarded car parking facilities and a taxi stop 100 meters down the street.
The Atocha train station, where the AVE high speed train connects with several Spanish and French cities, is located within a 10 minutes walk.

Lavapiés is a historic and authentic district, that is known for its bohemian, artistic and multicultural environment.
Downhill at the Plaza Lavapiés the Carrefour supermarket and closeby Mercados Antón Martín and San Fernando provide you with groceries.

Wer Madrid erkunden möchte, ist in dieser Wohnung gut aufgehoben. Diese liegt ideal und zentral. Je nach Marsch ist man vom Bahnhof „Atocha“ bis zur Wohnung in 15 bis 20 Min. zu erreichen. Etwa 10 Min. entfernt ist man auf dem Platz „Puerta del sol“ und somit ist man mitten in der City. Wer an einem Sonntag sich dort aufhellt, der ist in unmittelbarer Nähe vom „el rastro“ (Typischer Trödelmarkt). Eine Karte für das öffentliche Verkehrsmittelnetz braucht man wirklich nicht, da alles ganz schell zu Fuß erreichen ist. Lebensmittel kann man in ca. 100 Meter im Supermarkt holen, der alle 7 Tage die Woche offen hat.
Die Wohnung ist voll ausgestattet und wer noch Zusatzinfo brauch, kann jeder Zeit den netten Besitzer kontaktieren, der umgehend mit der Lösung oder Tipp über den Festnetzanschluss sich meldet. Außerdem bekommt man bei Zusage reichhaltige Info vom Vermieter.
Da die Wohnung über einen Innenhof zu erreichen ist, kann man die Ruhe genießen da man vom Außenleben nichts mitbekommt.
Fazit, eine Wohnung zu empfehlen.
Those wishing to explore Madrid, this is the best apartment. This is ideally and centrally situated. Depending on the march is to be reached in 15 to 20 min from Atocha trains station. About 10 minutes away you are on the pitch, " Puerta del Sol " and thus it is in the middle of the City. Who brightens on a Sunday there, which is very close to the " El Rastro " (typical flea market). You don't really need a card for the public transport, because everything is ringing within walking distance. The supermarket is just about 100 meters, open 7 days a week.
The apartment is fully equipped and who still need additional info, you can contact the friendly owner, who will give you a solution or tip over the fixed line immediately, at any time. You also get rich and usefull information from the owner.
Since the apartment is accessed via a courtyard , you can enjoy the serenity as the outdoor life doesn't pass through.
