We have lived in many places during our lives, have found it easy to call Lakewoodranch, FL home for the past 12 yeas (near Sarasota/ Bradenton area). We have been visiting Asheville for the past 10 years since our daughter moved here. Each trip, we love Asheville more..and now, finally our 1 st vacation home..... Where? No choice, we love coming to the great smoky mountains! Reed Cottage is a beautiful and cozy place tucked behind lots of trees and down a hidden narrow lane only 2 blocks up the hill from Biltmore Village.....and Lily Pulitzer....we love it, and hope you will too!
That is how I felt when we arrived, "Welcomed!" This was the perfect cottage for me and my daughter. We had a wonderful Easter weekend. We enjoyed walking to church on Sunday. The location was so peaceful. It is close to shopping and dining but you feel like you can relax and get away. The cottage was very comfortable and provided us with everything we needed. I also really appreciatde the owners allowing us to check out later after Easter service. Everyone was so kind! If the Bryan Family reads this, the dove did have her babies and we enjoyed watching them! I highly recommend The Reed Cottage for anyone coming to Asheville.
We were looking for a location convenient to restaurants and activities and found it with Reed Cottage. We enjoyed walking down to Biltmore Village and downtown Asheville was a short drive away. Only drawback we found was there wasn't a good place for the whole family to hang out or watch a movie together. But the house was very cozy and well kept.
Reed Cottage was the perfect place for our annual girl's getaway weekend. We enjoyed that it was a close walk to anything that we needed. Loved how charming and nicely decorated it was. The front porch was also a huge plus. We were there on the first nice weekend of the season and we really enjoyed spending time on the porch catching up. We would return!
A very lovely and charming cottage!!! A good choice versus staying in a hotel. The extra rooms were very nice as well. Decorated so nice and warming!! The location by Biltmore Village put us in a great location for all the other attractions we visited. Thank you to the owners who were very helpful as well!!!
We had a great stay (three adults, one toddler) at The Reed Cottage! Owners were very helpful with our visit, and the walk ability to Biltmore Village and my conference hotel (doubletree) was perfect. Up a hill, but what isn't up a hill in Asheville?!
We loved the location, features, and decor of this cottage. It was very close to Biltmore and downtown. We enjoyed great restaurants, breweries, and historic spots! A memorable trip that we would definitely recommend for others!
