Celebrating 100 years...This 1914 'Four Square' home is located in the historic Cheesman Park neighborhood, adjacent to the Capitol Hill neighborhood. In 2002, a Denver architect purchased the building and spent $475,000 restoring it to two single-family attached homes. The renovation project garnered a 2006 Restoration for Living Award from Historic Denver. Mission Revival and Spanish Colonial influences, Art Nouveau stained glass, and a turn-of-the-century reproduction fireplace from England are just a few of this home's architectural features.

This superbly renovated home is centrally located and close to all that Denver has to offer. Numerous restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and grocery stores (King Soopers, Whole Foods and Safeway) are within walking distance. Four blocks away from historic Cheesman Park, where you can enjoy its walking/jogging/biking paths, flower beds, pavilion, picnic tables, playground, and scenic views. Cheesman Park and the neighborhood around it abound with history that goes back to the founding of Denver City, as Denver was named in 1859.

The home consists of three levels:

MAIN LEVEL — Living room with gas fireplace and Sony 55-inch HDTV w/DirecTV, kitchen, dining room and powder room. The kitchen is fully equipped for a simple meal or gourmet dinner. High-end appliances, outdoor natural gas grill, and dining room directly off the kitchen seats 2-6 people.

UPSTAIRS — Master suite with king-size bed, dresser, Sony 50-inch flat-screen HDTV w/DirecTV, balcony, luxurious bathroom and walk-in closet.

DOWNSTAIRS — Second bedroom with queen-size bed, dresser, Sony 50-inch flat-screen HDTV w/DirecTV, desk with ergonomic chair, full bathroom and washer/dryer.

This home offers several great spots to sit outside and enjoy the afternoon or evening. In addition to the balcony off the master suite, there is a covered porch and walled courtyard. Grab a book, your favorite beverage and enjoy being in one of Denver's best neighborhoods. In the spring and summer, the courtyard is a great place for morning coffee, lunch, or a backyard BBQ. The courtyard includes an outdoor dining table with seating for six people, and a natural gas grill. The front of the house faces west so you can watch the sunset every night from either the front porch or balcony. There is a detached, oversized (562 sq. ft.) two-car garage that can fit full size trucks with room to spare for luggage, skis or additional items.

Consistently, A Great Experience

We have stayed at this beautiful property a number of times now and have never been disappointed. This is truly our "go to" option whenever we are in Denver. We love it.

Craig is a terrific host and goes way out of his way to make sure that our stay is always enjoyable. He runs this vacation rental like a true business with a strong emphasis on customer focus and attention to detail.

Great House, Great Location

This house was perfect for visiting our daughter who lives only a few blocks away. House is clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Kitchen has all you need to eat at home or you can walk to numerous restaurants. Porches on first and second floors would be great place to relax in nicer weather. Perfect size for two couples or small family. Highly recommend and will stay here again!

FAMILY CHRISTMAS IN THE ROCKIES

WOW! This home was so very perfect for our family Christmas. We wanted to enjoy a family setting, and no longer own a home in Denver, so this was beyond perfect. It is immaculately cared for; every nicety is top of the line. The owner is a splendid gentleman and provided so many extra courtesies to us. We decorated for the holidays and it just felt like we were home. The setting is perfect for a walk to the pretty park or downtown Denver. We loved the neighborhood; felt very safe and actually relaxed and just enjoyed the setting. This will definitely be our home away from home for all family events in Denver. Nothing could had been more perfect!

From actually having a garage!!!! to the yummy chocolates and the shower - oh my goodness it was so wonderful. Thank you Craig - you are the best!

Perfect place for our family Christmas!

This home was perfect for us. Our daughter lives in an apartment two houses down from the property. It was so convenient for us. It was also great that grocery stores were within walking distance.

The bedroom suites are spacious and comfortable. The owner provides many niceties that travelers can appreciate.

The kitchen had all the tools needed for making Christmas morning brunch.

Craig was available and attentive if needed. He even provided welcome chocolates-gotta love that!

Our family appreciated having this great place to celebrate the holiday together.

We would definitely book this property again!

Great time in Denver!!!

Came into Denver to visit with our two sons from California. We were celebrating the youngest of the two 24th birthday, we had a ball, and a lot had to do with the house. The location is amazing, making it easy to walk to whatevver we needed. Clean, beautiful, attention to ever detail! We are definitely coming back!
