Located in the beautiful Bernese Oberland, Brienzwiler is a small traditional village set in spectacular mountain scenery, with views of the Lake of Brienz. It is just 20 minutes to Interlaken, the gateway to the famous Jungfrau Region, and in the other direction less than an hour to Lucerne. In the village you will find the Ballenberg Openair Museum (summer) and in the immediate vicinity there are endless opportunities for mountain trips, easy days on the lake steamers or relaxing or strenuous hikes. We are just a few minutes away from the start of the famous 'Three Passes' (Grimsel, Furka, Susten), a must for anybody who loves to drive/ride. In the winter you can enjoy the snow sports at nearby Meiringen or Axalp or you can travel a little further to the extensive ski resorts of the Jungfrau Region

Two weeks in a wonderful place

Would you like to rest on Switzerland's most beautiful place? Let you select this holiday home! The home is modern, clean, very comfortable and fully appointed. The owners - Angie and Mike - are very kind and helpful.

We recommend it to hikers very much. The most beautiful mountains, passes, lakes, waterfalls, gorges, stb. even with car even with train, bus easily accessible.

Great stay at Chalet Mack

We were treated as true friends during our week stay at Chalet Mack. Our hosts Angie and Mike could not have been nicer. The studio is very comfortable, clean, modern and fully appointed. We were also to use the lockup garage for our motorbike. We would sit out on the front terrace and just look at the mountains. It is a perfect place with easy access to Brienz and Interlaken. We had come however to ride the Mountain passes and Chalet Mack is in easy reach of some of the best passes in Switzerland. We could not have imagined a better introduction to Switzerland - 10 out of 10.

Hola!
Estubimos alojados en el estudio durante una semana y la verdad que todo fantástico. No tubimos ningún problema. Es un estudio pequeño, pero ideal para una pareja. Es de construcción nueva, por lo que todo está en perfectas condiciones. Las fotos se corresponden a la realidad.
Destacar el trato de los propietarios, que son muy amables y atentos. Si estais buscando algo por esta zona, es totalmente recomendable como alojamiento de vacaciones.
Nosotros esperamos volver pronto!!!

The cosy apartment is just that - comfortable and equipped with everything you would realistically need. Angie and Mike are the nicest hosts and have excellent local knowledge. They're happy to help and keep the place wonderfully spick and span. The views are incredible and there is so much in the area to do that you'll be grateful for the comfy bed at the end of a full day. I'd absolutely recommend it to friends and family - and to anyone else!

¿Cuándo volvemos?

Hay tantas cosas positivas que destacar de nuestra estancia en la casa de Angie y Mark que no sabemos ni por dónde empezar.

La casa es perfecta para un par de personas: completamente nueva, muy limpia, con todo lo que se necesita nada más llegar: algo de leche, galletas, aceite, vinagre, cerveza,... Con zona para dejar el coche mientras dure la estancia. Pero sobre todo el entorno en el que se encuentra situada es simplemente precioso. Preferimos no dar muchos detalles para no estropear la sorpresa.

La ubicación también resulta ideal para desplazarse por el Oberland Bernés: muy cerca de Brienz o Interlaken.

Y por supuesto el trato recibido por parte de Angie y Mark es inmejorable. Siempre dispuestos a aconsejar sobre excursiones a realizar o sitios que visitar, y siempre con una gran sonrisa transmitiendo su buen humor.

De verdad, estamos deseando volver.
