Islas Galapagos Villa Rental Photos and Description
Beach Front Villa with wonderful ocean view
La Casa are twp very comfortable beach fronted appartments that acommodates up to 10 people in 2 queen and 4 twin size beds, 2 sofabeds plus 6 complete bathrooms.
The fully equipped kitchen will give you the chance to cook and feel at home while you explore the wonders of this magical place at your own pace.
Due to its superiority, comfort and detailed attention, am happy to present Mi Playa, the place looks new thanks to a wonderful helpful house keeper who keeps the house and its sorroundings.
Right at the beach Mi Playa is ideal for a small family, small group of friends looking for a beach vacation in a young and remote island of the Galapagos.
You can enjoy and relax an idyllic, self-catering vacation without the hassles of house maintenance or the pressure of a guided tour.
The archipelago has two seasons; the hot-rainy season between december and may. Strong short tropical showers normally during the night, eventually during the day too. Normally after the rain the sun comes out strong again. February, March and April are the hottest moths of the year. The 'Garua' season between june and november are commonly overcast, sometimes islands are covered in a fine mist specially during the early hours of the day, the mist eventually clears up and then sun shines out which can last for days and sometimes weeks. Coolest months of the year will be september, october.
Conditions of the sea will fallow the same pattern of the seasons, during the hot months of the year the winds cease and we have very calm ocean conditions perfect for
traveling between islands. From june to october ocean can be a bit rough making it more difficult to travel between islands.
Touristic activity never stops really and travelers take the choppy waters as adventure, normally having a lot of tales to tell...
The house is right in a small fishing village, very quite all the time. If you want to go out there are a couple of bars around and a salsa place. You can access all places just by walking.
There is no traffic on this town, most people moves around on bikes and also walking. There are cars (normally trucks) that can be used as taxis.
Visit my web page www.galapagosrelax.com there is detailed info about things you can do on Isabela
HOW TO GET HERE
Guest first have to make it to Guayaquil City, from there there are up to 5 daily flights that bring people to Galapagos. Baltra Island is where the main airport of the islands work, from here you could take an internal short flight (30 minutes) to get to Isabela. Round trip ticket is around $ 250.00 per person.
Flights need to be arranged and reserved with time, they are almost always full, specially in high season which is between November and August.
You could also come by speed boat, available daily from Santa Cruz Island at $ 60.00 round trip.
I personally take care of reservations, inquiries and information needed to make things clear until guests are 100% sure of what they want to do. Once on the island, the house keeper welcomes guest either at airport or pier. He takes them to the house and gives them a tour to show the town around.
If required I am available to guide local tours in Isabela, I am certified naturalist guide with vast experience on the islands.

Born in Cuenca, in a city in the ecuadorian andes known as the cultural capital of the country. I have gained experience with american culture first in California and then in New York City where I lived for a few years.
Introduced to the Islands by the people of the Charles Darwin Research Station as a graphic designer back in 1998, one of my duties was to translate research and put it on easy words so the people of the community will understand the fragility of the island ecosystems. In 2005 I became a Certified Naturalist Guide and since then have been working actively as one for various prestigious companies that tour the islands on a weekly basis.
Today together with my partner I attend the guests at Mi Playa, making sure they have a wonderful stay on this precious archipelago. I want to concentrate on exclusivity for small groups to make sure the quality of their visit is never compromised.
Galapagos needs to be paid attention to be fully understood... and that you can ONLY do with small groups of people!
Ximena purchased this villa in 2011
Why Ximena chose Islas Galapagos
Isabela was the only island of the archipelago in which I could buy ocean fronted property. My dream was to build a beach front home in which I could spend my free time looking at the ocean. I grew up going to the ocean and as an adult I just could not get away from it.
What makes this villa unique
Galapagos is a young archipelago that gives us the chance to see the very early processes of life taking place, no where but here we understand how life has taken place in the whole planet... I felt the urge to share this with people that could enjoy and understand this privilege.
