Skiing, art and handcraft - your holiday in Tesero
Located on a terrace facing the Lagorai chain in the heart of Val di Fiemme, Tesero is an important winter and summer tourist center. It is actually very close to Centro del Fondo di Lago di Tesero (Tesero Lake Cross-country ski center), where many international competitions have been held in the past and which will host the Nordic Ski World Championship in 2011. Tesero is also close to the huge Ski Center Latemar featuring 40 km of ski-runs, which wind down from the Pampeago Alpine Peak (1757 meters) and up to Predazzo and Obereggen.
Tesero has always been the artistic and cultural center of the Val di Fiemme valley, with its churches, capitals, sundials and frescoes decorating its age-old, traditional-style houses.
Every year it showcases a much-loved exhibition of artistic Nativity Scenes displayed on the streets of the town.

Tesero lies on a natural terrace in front of the Lagorai range, in the heart of the Val di Fiemme. Family-friendly winter and summer holiday destination, Tesero has a renowned Cross-country Ski Center, where international competitions are held.
Particularly noteworthy is its variety of traditional arts and crafts, including musical instruments manufacturing (organs and pianos), furniture, fixtures, sports items as well as textiles.
Characteristic are also its churches, capitals and frescoed houses. Enjoy fishing at Lake Tesero recreation center and enjoy some excellent Nordic Walking at the main Nordic Walking Park in Trentino, with over 60 km paths marked out for fitness lovers.
