Elegant apartment immersed in the Fori Imperiali

I spent 2 weeks in this amazing apartment in February as I am moving to Rome and needed some valuable time in the Eternal City! The apartment is so well located; the local area (Monti) is incredible for shopping, sights and eating/drinking! There are 2 metro stops within 5 minutes walk and 2 great supermarkets (the one on Via Cavor was my favourite!) You can also walk easily to Termani if you want to venture out of Rome!
I adored the apartment - it was stylish, clean and so well equipped - I felt so at home here and really didn't want to leave! It was amazing to stay in the heart of such an historic area of Rome!

We are to young retirees from Montreal. We visited Italy this autumn and stay in this apartment for one week – September 25 to October 3. We adored our Roman holiday and one of the reasons was Valentino and Rosanna’s apartment.

Amazing location, you cannot be better situated, you are close to all major attractions: Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine and Capitoline Hills, Piazza Venezia. A metro station (Cavour) is very close, so if you don’t want to walk you can take the metro and stop to Piazza del Popolo or Piazza de Spagna etc. We walked most of the time even to villa Borghese. The only time when we took the bus was to go to Musei Vaticani because we had to be there at 9:00 o’clock.

Even if you are in the very center of Rome, the apartment is very quit and secure and is furnished with everything we might need, even a computer with Internet and a telephone for local calls.

Valentino is a great host, it was a pleasure to deal with him during the reservation. We met him at the apartment and he explained us how all the things work. We didn’t meet Rosanna, but we spoke with her at phone couple of times and she was very helpful and charming.

We will recommend this apartment to our best friends, and we will go back without any hesitation if we plan another roman holiday.

For starters, the apartment has everything you need and maybe more: great bed (and reasonably comfortable sofa bed), fully furnished kitchen, large bathroom and even guide books, a washing machine, cable television and very good internet. In fact, the apartment is even furnished with a desktop computer that guests are free to use. The apartment is also modern, clean and generally well taken care of. Our family of four had a very comfortable stay here.

As it was our first time in Rome, we had no idea about neighbourhoods but we felt like we really lucked out with the location of this apartment. It's in Monti, a quiet, safe and very cool neighbourhood with lots of interesting little shops and great cafés. Walk a few steps to the end of the street and you're facing the Fori Imperiali and all it's ancient ruins. Just down the street is the Colosseum; the apartment is so close to so many interesting sights and one can easily walk to all the major sites in Rome as we did. The apartment is also a very short walk to a metro station, so very convenient indeed.

A word must be said about Valentino, the landlord. He is a gracious host. Very easy to communicate with and very nice in person. He met us at the apartment to welcome us to Rome, explained everything we needed to know about the apartment and then let us know that he was available to answer any questions or deal with any problems at any time. We didn't need to contact him at all during our stay but I believe he would have helped us out with anything should the need have arisen. I would have no trouble recommending this apartment to friends and family and in fact would stay in any apartment owned or managed by Valentino.
