Your Personal Second Home In The Desert

This beautiful mid century ranch home, custom built in 1955 on a .25 acre lot, is located in the quiet and serene Taquitz River Estates. This area features some of the earliest custom homes and largest lots that were developed in early Palm Springs. The home is very private – surrounded by lush walls of hedges. Entry to the home is through an electric gate from the street or a secured entry gate leading to the front courtyard.

The open living/dining area is accessible through French doors to the front yard with desert landscaping with an additional covered seating area and through 2 sets of double French doors to the patio/terrace and large landscaped backyard. The focal point of this living space is a floor to ceiling double-sided brick fireplace with glass flames. This area includes seating and dining areas, large flat screen wall mounted TV, Wi-fi , and a music system wired throughout the home.

The house is newly furnished like your own home with a stylish glass/Lucite dining table, mid century seating and attention to detail. It is comfortable and inviting.

The kitchen is updated and modern with spacious cabinets and Caesar stone counters. It is fully equipped with beautiful new glassware, china, serving dishes and platters, new gourmet cookware and all the items that you prefer in your own home.

The bedrooms are all private and in separate areas of the home. The master bedroom has a walk in closet, bath with shower over tub and French doors which open and overlook the back yard and pool. The second bedroom, accessed through the hall , has French doors to the side desert yard, a full wall of closet space and an adjacent bath with an open rain shower design. This bedroom/bath offers additional privacy from the rest of the home.

The third bedroom is adjacent to the kitchen, with French doors to the front desert landscaping and a small but functional bathroom with a toilet and shower. This bath also provides access to the back yard and can be used from the terrace/pool area.

Each bedroom has new high-end linens, plush towels, pool towels and all the requisite comforts for your stay.

The seamless indoor/outdoor flow continues to a large lattice covered terrace with seating and dining areas overlooking the huge pool- over eight feet deep. The rear yard contains custom patio furniture, beautiful lounge chairs, seating areas with umbrellas, a covered cabana, BBQ, and a large grass area with total privacy.

On warmer days, the misting system surrounds the terrace and dining areas for your comfort. In the evening, the landscape and the pool lighting create a casual resort feel for enjoying the beautiful desert evenings.

The south facing yard, pool and large in ground spa provide the backdrop to spectacular/mesmerizing mountain views as well as the hundreds of palm trees the city is known for. This property is a stunning example of how to live in Palm Springs.

The home is conveniently located 5-10 minutes from the airport. It is a short walk/or drive to downtown shops and restaurants as well as all the world class Palm Springs area activities.

Rarely is a home of this comfort and quality available as a rental.

This home is available on minimum stay of 4 days. Additional days are prorated on a per day weekly basis.

There is a $200.00 cleaning fee and an optional fee of $50.00 per day to heat the pool.

The home has been carefully furnished as an elegant and tasteful residence with all the high end linens, kitchenware, and soft goods that you would appreciate it your own home. This is your second home in the desert...enjoy the privacy and relaxation...

What makes this house unique

Our home is most comfortable for 3 couples. There are sleeping accommodations for six. We request that total daytime residents/guests be limited to 10 persons. All sleeping areas are separated and private. There are stunning mountain views from the front and back yards. The property is secluded and quiet. Palm Springs strictly enforces the noise ordinance and we request that you are respective of the ordinance.

Modern Comfort

My wife and I were joined by our daughters for a weekend to celebrate my birthday. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return, which I think is the best review I could give.

The house is designed to flow around a large, very comfortable pool with spa. Large glass doors that open completely allow easy flow from inside to out, giving a feeling of openess and is particularly nice when the weather is nice, which it was. We particularly liked the outdoor speaker setup which allowed us to listen to music as we lounged. The view of the mountains from the pool area was fantastic.

The three bedrooms each have their own bath, the smaller twin room is on the side with the kitchen. The good sized master and second bedroom are comfortable and well appointed.

The kitchen has everything a kitchen should have. There was no shortage of utensils/dishes, nothing we felt was lacking. We had access to park our car inside the garage, which is always nice.

This is a well maintained home in a quiet neighborhood of well maintained homes. A bit too far for a comfortable walk to the main drag, but an easy bike ride.

My wife and I enjoyed this property very much! It is located in a quiet, beautiful, neighborhood. Very well supplied with everything one needs for a satisfying vacation. The owner is an excellent communicator. We would recommend this property to anyone and would gladly visit again.

Fantastic deep pool...Private and green backyard...lime trees with juicy limes on them for your margaritas......and yes that is real grass in the backyard! I would recommed this property to a friend.

Fantastic Experience!

We have rented many homes in Palm Springs and this has become our favorite house! It is located in a great location in South PS where it is less windy and close to anything you need. Great communication from the owners before we even got there. David walked us through everything upon arrival and made sure we had everything needed. The house is stylishly and comfortably furnished- I even got decorating ideas for myself! The backyard is beyond amazing! The pool is huge and the yard can accomodate many tastes: shaded places to relax/eat, sun or shade in the pool, sun in the grass. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax in the sun with family! Thank you for sharing this wonderful home- we'll definitely be back!

Great Place, Close to Downtown but Far Enough Away to Relax and Enjoy

The house is very nice and well maintained. Instructions for operating the amenities were clear and simple. We really enjoyed our time there. We were very close to all of the events happening over time in PS but the house also offered us refuge and quiet from the crowds too. Also, inquiring about the house, reserving and checking in was easy and Michael and David were very nice to work with. I would recommend this house without reservation.
