The house lies on a quiet private cul- de- sac road on the Bertra peninsular in Clew Bay with sea on 3 sides and Croagh Patrick in front. This is an ideal place to combine a beach holiday with Croagh Patrick hill walking and exploring Mayo and Connemara. A short stroll away is the spectacular Blue Flag Beach of Bertra with sand dunes suitable for swimming, sea-angling, wind-surfing, kite-surfing and kayaking. This area is also well known for bird watching.
Situated between the villages of Murrisk and Lecanvey and 6km from the beautiful town of Westport, with its fabulous shops, pubs and restaurants and Music Festivals. There are indoor pools , spas and a modern cinema complex.
Louisburgh is also close by with more attractions such as the Pirate Queen museum.
There are a couple of local pubs and restaurants in adjacent villages.
