I have vacationed in the Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area and have family in the area. I absolutely fell in love with the area and particularly the people. I am active duty military, so I don't get to make it to the mountains as often as I'd like to. But, pleasing my guests is a very high priority of mine because I want them to have the same enjoyment and satisfaction I have whenever I stay in the mountains. The surrounding faith-based community is the most appealing facet that draws my attention to this area. I assure you the beauty and the peace I feel whenever I get to stay at this home is very unique.

The most unique and wonderful benefit of this cabin is the serene privacy that it provides. It provides the perfect recipe to relax and enjoy the company you are with without the hustle and bustle of everyday stress.
We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Frankly Peaceful. You see, I'm basically a lazy man at heart, and for me to got to the wilds of the woods, and the mountains would take something astronomical to move me. Besides, for us it would be a 3 1/2 hour drive through treacherous roads of the Interstates and mountain backroads. Well, I went with trepidations and encountered some heavy traffic in Sevierville, which was no big deal, it was tourism at it's peak. I'm a beach lover, and encountering this traffic at the beach is OK. But, what's HERE??? In the WOODS??!! Also, finding the route to the cabin was a bit intimidating for a flat-lander beach bum. Up a network of winding roads, we finally reached our destination. We arrived to see a quaint little "log cabin" type house, located in a wooded area. It was eye awakening, for I noticed there were other cabins peppered around the area at a good distance apart from each other. So, we found the key in a "lock-box" on the porch, and I just happen to see a broom handy, so I swept some leaves that had fallen off the front porch. I unlocked the front door and what did I see? This beautiful setting of a kitchen, with everything that one could ever need! A dinette and living room fully furnished, and with a fireplace, two doors leading to the screened back porch with lounge furniture, and yes, TWO flat screen TVs, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room. As I stood looking out that back porch, God's creation suddenly seemed to explode with it's beauty right before my very eyes, with the sounds of nature that was music to our ears. We couldn't help but say, "WOW!!" Further exploration revealed a bedroom, with a beautiful queen size bed, that looked hand made, two bathrooms and a jacuzzi tub. "All this beauty in the middle of the woods?" I thought. We were ecstatic to say the least! We didn't need one thing except to show up...with groceries, of course. The next morning, I arose to God's lovely "show place." I made some coffee and had planned to read my Bible on the porch when, looking out, I was overwhelmed with joy, because it was like God was saying to me, "Happy Birthday, Rod." You see, the Thursday we were there was my birthday. I immediately went to my knees to thank Him for this gift of awesome natural beauty before me. Do we intend on coming back periodically and every chance we get? You betcha'! Would I do it again? In a "skinny minute!" I'll be calling to make another reservation SOON!!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Frankly Peaceful. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was quiet and easy to find. The directions were perfect. It only took us 10 minutes to get back to Pigeon Forge. The owner was great to work with and made our first trip to the area even better.
My wife and I had a great time here. It's the perfect getaway for a nice, relaxing vacation.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Frankly Peaceful. It was very quiet, clean and had a very comfortable bed! We so enjoyed the fireplace!! We will certainly go back - this owner/manager was awesome to work with and that makes a huge difference on where we like to stay!
What an extremely clean, roomy and well stock cabin for two...Nice comfortable bed, screened-in porch with swing and gas grill and a bath for each one of us. Seems out a bit but it only takes 5 mins to get to a store for anything you might need and 10 mins into the heart of PF. The owner is kind and easy to work with and the best part is you don't have added fees The price you see is the price you pay :) I would def go back and put this cabin under my favorites so I could get to it easy the next time we go!
We really enjoyed the cabin...for two people it is perfect, with the hideaway bed, it would be ok for small children. We only had two issues: 1) get up the mountain before it gets dark...the roads are a little hairy after dark 2) we noticed several maintenance/housekeeping items. I bought light bulbs myself to replace burned out bulbs in the light over the dining table, abd there were other burned out bulbs in the bedroom and jaccuzi room. Also, there wre a lot of cob webs on the decor on the mantel and probably in other areas, too. I left the extra bulbs and a note for the housekeeping staff. It wouldn't stop me from renting the unit again but I would check around as soon as we got there and notify the property manager. Since, basically, we only had Monday and Tuesday in the unit, it was easier to handle it myself.
The cabin was very nice. It was clean and inviting. There were plenty of towels, dishes, pots and pans, anything you needed. The location is secluded but yet near enough to town.
