The ocean view Master Bedroom has a new bed with top quality queen mattress, a 2 piece ensuite bathroom, and a large sliding door directly into the covered cabana with a daybed and hot tub.
Our cozy second bedroom also has a new queen bed, full bathroom directly across the hall, and the beach is close enough for you to be lulled asleep listening to the waves.
A very cute and separate water view bunk-house is just a few steps away from, but joined to the house by a raised deck. Carport and extra parking available on a quiet street. If you would like to arrive by boat, there is 'Port Stalashen Marina' at the end of our beach.
The amazing view and the perfect sunshine coast location!
Just a short scenic 20 minutes from the ferry.
This location offers the best of both worlds.Close to all the amenities the Sunshine Coast has to offer as well as being in a central but quiet neighbourhood with a private beach!
The exceptional ocean view and southern exposure has been maximized by this late sixties modern-designed west coast home. Extra large windows and doors open onto a generous and well appointed terrace and yard.
Our lot is flat and meets directly with the beach and ocean. With our 180* view you can see the city of Vancouver to the east, south to the gulf and San Juan islands and Vancouver Island to the west!
Thank you for being such a pleasure to deal with and writing such a lovely review! I'm so glad you had such a good time and liked the time you spent here.
I look forward to your next stay you are welcome back anytime!
This was a beautiful house in a spectacular location. It was a perfect place for a weekend enjoying the ocean and sunshine. The kitchen is well-equipped and organized. The best part is the outdoor spaces, both on the decks and the yard. There are many comfortable spaces to read, socialize or just enjoy the view. This is a perfect place to relax, have leisurely meals and enjoy the company of friends and family.
We had a wonderful time at this little gem. The views were spectacular, and from sun rise to sunset, it never got old. When the tide was out, it was the perfect spot for young kids to go and find shells and crabs, and excellent water temperature to swim in when the tide was in. The place had beautiful décor, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything and more that you could have asked for and more. Thank you again!
What a beautiful place to stay, with ocean views, attractive decor, and a well-supplied kitchen. I loved the fireplace and loved walking out to the beach. You can sit in the hot tub or in one of the comfortable chairs outside and watch for seals. The owner couldn't have been nicer.
Mystical because of the low lying morning fog which, in my eyes, makes for a very romantic setting.
This magical, mystical weather can be expected during the cooling seasons.
But no need to worry, it usually burns off half way through the day.... or, warmly watch it all blow over from the comforts of the hot tub!
This beach house was the perfect weekend get-a-way, the only thing missing was more time...
I would certainly stay again and recommend it to my friends.
Located perfectly between Sechelt and Gibsons, very quiet, private and peaceful .
What a wonderful place: awesome views, tranquil location, and well appointed house. I am still astounded by how close this property is to the water. The stunning views of the water from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom are mesmerizing. The proximity of the water also made it easy to get the on-site kayaks into and out of the water. Great outdoor spaces with the dining deck, hot tub and covered deck, and cosy cabana. Inside I loved the eclectic furnishings, each piece is interesting and esthetically pleasing yet purposeful and comfortable. The comfort of the master bedroom bed along with listening to the lapping of the waves on the shore is an unbeatable combination. Hope to return soon!!
We arrived by boat! For several summers, our family has talked about getting up to Canadian waters and this lovely beach house became the catalyst. It's a wonderful spot for family and friends, well appointed with plenty of character, and has a panoramic view of the Straight of Georgia. For a maritime lover, there is no shortage of immediate fun -- a tranquil kayak gliding through the water, or bringing the boat for a spin around the nearby White Islets. Each part of the day possesses it own beauty, and the stars at night are amazing. Highly recommended!
Enjoy miles of natural beauty and adventures along the shoreline of the Sunshine Coast.
We can offer you the best of both worlds:
Great restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, galleries, and plenty of outdoor activities are all just steps away from our front door. Or stay on the property and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of our quiet and private beach front neighbourhood.
FERRY: Most people arrive on the Sunshine Coast by BC Ferries. See www.bcferries.com for schedules, departure and arrival times, and any current possible delays or timing. The ferry leaves Horseshoe Bay, and is a 40 minute gift to the modern family. It starts your decompression. Stand on the bow of the ship, let the wind blow through your hair, and just recognize that you are going to a new world of relaxation, slower pace and fewer hassles. If you are hungry, the food is actually pretty good, given the usual expected standard of ferry food one finds worldwide. If you are travelling during the busier summer time, or on weekends, you might be well advised to spend a few dollars to secure a reservation online on a particular ferry so you don't have to wait any longer than necessary.
PUBLIC TRANSIT and BUS: You can get here by public transit, although it is less convenient than travelling by car. Get on the ferry at Horseshoe Bay as a 'walk-on' for a modest charge, catch the bus that meets the ferry upon arrival, and get off a couple blocks from the beach house. The Malaspina bus service runs daily, and can pick up at Vancouver Airport (YVR), or downtown Vancouver and drop you off at the bus stop by the beach house, and take you back. There is a limited schedule, so please see www.malaspinacoach.com for schedules.
FLOAT PLANE: If you are in a hurry to relax, or want to treat your group to a really special experience, arrive by float plane in Sechelt, and secure a taxi ride the 10 minutes to the beach house. If you are staying a few days at the beach house, but want to go into the big city of Vancouver for a day, take the float plane in to the heart of the city, landing near Canada Place in downtown Vancouver. The service also flies to and from Vancouver Airport (YVR) or across the Georgia Strait to Nanaimo. Indirect float plane service connects on to Whistler and Victoria. The views are exceptional and it is one of the best ways to see the coast, and have a really memorable experience. Check out www.harbourairgroup.com as one of the larger providers.
