Luxury two bedroom cottage with stunning views over Loch Tay and private hot tub

Tucked away in the high meadows of the Highland estate of Craggantoul, Ben Lawers Rest is a charming holiday cottage offering panoramic views over Loch Tay and the surrounding woodland.

The luxurious two bedroom property sits at the foot of mighty Ben Lawers, the tenth highest mountain in Scotland, within the grounds of the Highland estate of Craggantoul. As well as an acre of private grounds at the property, our guests have access to some 40 acres of ancient woodland including private orchard, secluded oak forest walks, loch frontage and fishing rights.

Offering guests the ultimate in self catering, the property is luxuriously furnished and offers all the mod cons for the perfect break, including a private hot tub. The patio doors open onto a wide private decking which is perfect for BBQ, sunbathing and taking in the fantastic scenery.

The entire location is rich in history, wildlife, activities and attractions, with water sports, walking, fishing, and golf courses.
About Greg Deakin

We live in Scotland with our two young children and operate a holiday cottage business on the shores of Loch Tay in the Scottish Highlands and a ski chalet business in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Our properties range in style, age and size - they range from renovated farm steadings to alpine chalets, but all have a great sense of homeliness and beautiful views, as well as lots of little luxuries to help everyone unwind and enjoy their holidays, no matter how old or young they may be!

The reason we love Loch Tay is because it is such a fantastic location for holidays and there is so much to do in the area, no matter the time of the year. Ben Lawers Rest can be reached in just two hours from Glasgow or Edinburgh, but is still tucked away from the buzz of daily life. In a secluded spot on the 40 acre estate, the newly refurbished property is light and spacious, yet cosy and has breathtaking views from the glass fronted living and dining areas, (as well as from the hot tub) over the surrounding meadows and Loch Tay, which make it a very special place, popular with honeymooners, and couples as well as families and friends looking for a traquil retreat!

What makes this house unique

Loch Tay offers guests numerous opportunities for fishing (from our shores), climbing (we are located at the foot of the mighty Ben Lawers mountain), boating on the loch, visiting castles, distilleries, golf and all just on our doorstep! The house itself offers a spacious, homely and peaceful retreat to relax at the end of the day after all of these activities with a well deserved glass of wine from the bubbling hot tub.
