Notes

• The contract between the client and the property owner shall be deemed to be made subject to these conditions of hire. This contract of hire will not become effective until the client receives written confirmation of the booking. The confirmation will be sent by the owner on receipt of the required deposit of 15% of the full rental cost – or full payment in the event that the booking request has been made six weeks or less prior to commencement of the rental. Requested dates of hire will be held for 5 days pending receipt of the deposit When this is received, the booking will be confirmed in writing by return to the hirer, who must be over the age of 21. The booking can begin on any day of the week, but must be for a minimum of 7 nights. A one off end of rental cleaning fee of £60 is payable per booking. The payment for the balance of the rental charge plus a security deposit of £100/or US$150 will be due 6 weeks prior to the start of the hire period.
• Bookings made within 6 weeks of the start of the hire period require the full amount of the rental cost plus the security deposit to be paid at the time of booking. On receipt of the cleared balance, access to villa details, key pick up etc will be supplied. The payment of a fully refundable security deposit of £100 or US $150 is required at the same time as the balance of the total rental cost. This deposit will be held as security against the return of keys and garage remote control, inventory loss/damage, or any structural damage to the property, including the need for extra cleaning costs. This deposit will be returned to the client – less any costs incurred – within 15 days of departure. The hirer must agree to accept full liability for loss or damage caused by any member of the rental party during occupation of the villa, and confirm that the full cost of repair or replacement will be met in the event that such costs exceed the security deposit.
• The owner reserves the right to cancel a contract of hire where full payment has not been received six weeks prior to the commencement of the hire period. Bookings made within six weeks of this date must pay the total cost, together with the security deposit. All cancellations must be notified to the owner at the earliest possible opportunity. In the event of cancellation the following charges will apply: More than 6 weeks prior to start of hire period - deposit only.
  Less than 6 weeks prior to start of hire period - 100% of the rental cost, unless the owner is able to re-let the property at an equivalent cost. The pool can be electrically heated at an additional charge (£ 70 or US $ 100 per week). A pool blanket/reel system is also provided to maintain the heat overnight and when the pool is not in use. We encourage use of the blanket to prevent any additional charges for pool heat.
