We are proud to present this luxury cabin rental on Sugar Mountain NC – The Trinity. This lovely home is located in the prestigious Sugar Pointe community and features the finest of furnishings and amenities all within minutes of the slopes for winter skiing, snow tubing and snowshoeing and summer mountain biking, golf and tennis.
The Trinity offers so much both inside and out, but let’s begin with the approach. As you drive up Banner Elk’s popular Sugar Mountain, you truly know you are in the mountains. The paved road winds through lovely woods as you near the 5300 foot elevation, with magnificent long-range views along the way. It is not unusual to pause for a peek at deer or wild turkey, and there are even the occasional bear sightings.
Upon arrival you are greeted with a view through the large floor-to-ceiling windows of the delicate woods behind the home. There are several walking trails throughout this location, one of which may be accessed from the back yard. The property itself is flat, offering a great option for outdoor play, and it is difficult for children of any age not to go exploring in such an ideal setting.
Inside the open floor plan is ideal for family time, with a large sunny living area featuring the finest of furnishings and a tall stacked stone fireplace. The quality construction and exceptional woodwork evident throughout this luxury home include white-oak flooring, cherry and granite cabinetry, high open beam ceilings and large windows to enjoy the special surroundings from each room.
The gourmet kitchen makes anyone feel like a chef, with top of the line appliances including in-wall oven and microwave. Again the open floor plan lends itself to family interaction, as the kitchen is located between the living room and dining area - everyone can lend their input to the recipes, and the chef can keep an eye on the big game as the large flat screen HDTV is easily visible. And don’t forget the gas grill on the large back deck, the perfect spot for outdoor dining, or spending evenings enjoying the stars while soaking in the large hot tub.
Getting everyone up in the mornings may be difficult once you snuggle into your beds at night….The Trinity features pillow-top mattresses and luxury linens. The master bedroom has a lovely king bed and private bath complete with large seventy gallon whirlpool tub and separate tiled walk-in shower with dual showerheads. Wake up in the morning and enjoy private access to the large back deck from this room as well. There are two more bedrooms each with queen beds, the fourth bedroom has a queen bunk bed (yes, a queen on both the top and bottom), and the new, fifth bedroom has two twin beds, a PS3, a table video arcade with 53 games and a flat screen HDTV. All bedrooms have their own flat screen television, so there is never any arguing over programming!
For your enjoyment you will also find a pool table, an outdoor fire pit, rockers on the back deck, a ping pong table, basket ball goal and don't forget the hot tub!
Once you do get everyone up, it may be hard to decide what you should do first. This home is just minutes from the slopes of Sugar Mountain, offering not only lots of winter options (skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice skating, snow tubing) but summer options (golf, tennis, and miles of mountain bike and hiking trails) and breathtaking scenic lift rides during the height of autumn leaf season. You are ten minutes from Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway, and within twenty minutes of Boone, Appalachian State University, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock. There is basketball in the driveway and ping pong in the garage.

Larger groups may enjoy renting this home with The Scarboro or Buck Horn Lodge, both within walking distance; or nearby Heart Rock Lodge.
