The apartment gave us an excellent base for a great break in Paris. The location is superb with the buzzing Rue Montorgueil, where everything you need for both eating in & eating out, being only a couple of minutes away. a Main attractions such as the Louvre & Ile de la Citie are ~15 minutes walk and the apartment is close to Metro lines which serve attractions further away.
The apartment itself is exactly as shown on the website, equipped to a very high standard and easy to live in.
Pascal is lovely and he has great enthusiasm for food so his restuarant recommendations allowed us to eat out very well. There are good food shops on Rue Montorgueil, especialy bakeries which let you rollout of bed in the morning to pick up fresh croissants.
We would have no hesitation coming back.
What a wonderful place! It was perfect for my husband and myself. It was in a great neighborhood and close to many shops, restaurants, and cafes. The apartment itself was well-equipped with everything needed for our stay (we stayed for 10 days). Also the manager, Pascal, gave us a great orientation -- suggested many shops, restaurants and great French wine. We would definitely stay here again.
The apartment is exactly as described, beautifully appointed, very clean and easy to keep clean, bright, comfortable, perfect for a couple or a family of three. It truly felt like home and we loved everything about it. Pascal was a great host on our arrival, and helped us greatly with a nice orientation session and recommendations for different dining and wining spots in the neighbourhood. We would come back in a heartbeat!
We could not have been more delighted with the Moliere Louvre apartment, its location and our host, Pascal. First, the apartment itself is nicely-sized and very thoughtfully appointed with all the amenities you want while staying away from home--kitchen, laundry, closet storage, phone, very fast internet, etc.
But the charm is amazing--the apartment is recently renovated with amazingly large windows that open for breezes and let in the ambience of the life around. The location in the village Montorgueil could not be better. Within walking distance of many of Paris's top attractions, just around the corner is the best produce, fromageries, boucheries, patisseries, and boulangeries you could want for fresh and delicious marketing. Also, many cafes and restaurants and bars. Shops abound, as well. And we just found ourselves returning to our neighborhood, as it had everything we wanted.
Pascal was lovely in helping us before arrival but also in meeting us to help orient us to the apartment and neighborhood. And during our stay he was a great help with recommendations and questions.
We absolutely fell in love with the area, the apartment and were thrilled with Pascal's excellent and friendly service and guidance.
We did not want to leave. And we are looking forward to our next stay!
My husband and I spent a week in this delightful apartment. The description on the site is very accurate. The bedroom is small but has a very comfortable king bed and a lot of closet space, which we never had in other rentals, so we could unpack everything and the place still looked very tidy. Excellent hot water all week! The apartment is very bright, has a well equipped kitchen. We fell in love with the area, just a few minutes, if that, to the Montorgueil pedestrian district with bistros, bakeries, meat and fish markets etc. so tempting that we had dinner a few times at the apartment! I would definitely recommend.
We loved our stay at this apartment and Pascal is wonderful to work with and rent from. He spent the time to make sure we knew about the apartment and what the neighborhood offered. This is one block from the open air market. You can walk for groceries or for dinner or for cheese and wine. It's not far from the Louvre and we walked down one night to do a boat trip on the Seine. It is also close to many metro stops. Pascal called us a car service back to the airport (simply because it was Easter Sunday and we wanted a quick easy family ride with the luggage). There are stairs up to this rental so if you are not game to walk them then this isn't the place for you. If you want to live like a parisian then by all means this is a great apartment to rent. Our children (ages 10 and 13) loved it! Perfect family vacation.
