Mas Suner is an old farmhouse turned into a guesthouse and renovated in style. It is beautifully located 3 kilometres outside the village of Maçenet de Carbrenys in an 11 ha. Estate in the heart of the unspoiled nature of the wooded foothills of the Pyrenees. It is an ideal place to spend holidays away from the hectic city life; ideal for children too. You can choose between a 4-room-apartment, a maisonette and a studio (2 beds, a small seating corner and a bathroom with shower and toilet). At everybody’s disposal is: swimming pool, summer-kitchen with barbecue, boule-drive, billiard table, table tennis, a big meadow to play in, a garden to enjoy and relax and many cosy corners to be undisturbed.

The 100 m² maisonette-apartment in Mas Suner offers space for up to 5 people on three levels. The rooms have no doors and therefore you get a feeling of width and space. Ground floor: cosy parlour-kitchen with all comforts and direct exit to the garden (garden seating accommodation). 1st floor: Living room with Sofa-double bed and fireplace and also garden seating accommodation. 2nd floor: Bedroom with a double bed and a separate room with a single bed and a big bathroom with shower and toilet. If you need more space there is the possibility to rent an additional studio.

Generous holiday –apartment in a farmhouse renovated in style in the midst of unspoiled nature. Mas Suner is located 3 km outside the charming village of Maçenet de Cabrenys. The village has a very good infrastructure which includes a butcher, bakery, a small supermarket, bars and restaurants. It is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy at the foothills of the Pyrenees. If you like it more active: we have a swimming pool, a boule-drive below plane-trees and an immense number of walking and biker trails. A reservoir invites you to swim and to fish.

Wir hatten die Maisonette für 2 Wochen gemietet und wären am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben!
Sowohl von aussen als auch von innen ein äußerst gepflegtes Erscheinungsbild. Die Wohnung geht über 3 Etagen, zusätzlich gibt es 2 Terrassen zur alleinigen Nutzung. Die Küche in der unteren Etage bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man braucht. In der mittleren Etage gibt es ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Kamin, das sehr gemütlich eingerichtet ist. Die obere Etage besteht aus einem riesigen Bad und einem sehr großen Schlafzimmer. Auch hier hat uns die Einrichtung sehr gut gefallen!
Die Außenanlagen mit dem Pool sind ebenfalls sehr schön.
Nicht zuletzt möchten wir uns noch für die Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter bedanken! Wir haben uns auf Anhieb gut verstanden und durften sogar den eigenen Wein verkosten.
Wenn wir uns doch mal von dem Domizil losreissen konnten, hatten wir jede Menge Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen in der näheren Umgebung. Ansonsten gibt es für kulturell interessierte das "Dalí Dreieck und viele mittelalterliche Dörfer. Außerdem kann man auch ans Meer fahren (z.B. Roses, Ampuries, L'Escala)
Als Zusammenfassung können wir nur sagen: Wir kommen wieder!

Gerne hätten wir unseren dreiwöchigen Ferienaufenthalt in der Maisonette auf Mas Suner verlängert.
Zum Gelingen des Urlaubs haben beigetragen: die große, gepflegte und sehr gut eingerichtete Wohnung, die Ruhe garantierende Lage und Größe der Mas, die Möglichkeiten ungestört eigenen Beschäftigungen nachgehen zu können (faulenzen, baden, lesen, boulen, kochen...), die schöne Landschaft, die uns abwechslungreiche Wanderungen (teilweise ab Mas Suner) ermöglichte, die nicht weit entfernten Dörfer und Städte mit ihren vielfältigen Einkaufsgelegenheiten, teilweise sehr guten Köchen (hier geben die Vermieter gerne Tipps und nehmen auf Wunsch auch die Reservierungen vor) und die interessanten kulturellen und geschichtsträchtigen Orte.
Außer der nicht machbaren Verlängerung blieben keine Wünsche offen.
Sehr angenehm (und auch äußerst zuverlässig schon im Vorfeld der Buchung) war auch der Kontakt zu den netten und immer hilfsbereiten Vermietern. Dafür ein herzliches Danke schön.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!
