Convenient and luxurious flat in Edwardian Mansion House

Enjoy the benefits of a visit to London without the hassle and congestion of the city centre by staying in our stunning apartment. We are located in Bromley North, a traditional leafy suburb of south east London with a vibrant town centre. An easy three minute walk leads to Sundridge Park railway station, where frequent trains take you to the centre of London in approximately twenty minutes. An inexpensive travel card covers you for the return train journey as well as allowing unlimited access to the extensive underground and bus service of central London.

Our apartment is located within Abingdon House, a grand, Edwardian mansion set within its own communal, lawned gardens. The centrally heated, first floor apartment is approached via a wide sweeping wooden staircase from a communal lobby and secure main entrance. The apartment, which was totally renovated and tastefully modernised in 2006, is one of only six apartments in this wing of the original property.

The apartment’s main living/dining area is tastefully furnished and provides a relaxing venue to recover from sightseeing or to enjoy a meal. The décor is modern but comfortable and compliments the honey oak floors which run throughout the living area and hallway. Adjacent to the living area is a fully equipped modern kitchen with ceramic flooring and granite worktops. There is a comprehensive range of china, glass and cooking equipment and a six burner stainless steel range oven on which to prepare a meal, should you wish to.

Getting to the apartment: Bromley can be easily reached by car from the airports which surround London or , if required , we can arrange a taxi cab to collect/deliver you. Alternatively the Eurotunnel terminal at Ebbsfleet is a half hour journey away with regular Eurostar trains to the continent. For those wishing to drive to London from the continent the Eurotunnel and Ferry services can be found at Folkestone and Dover, a journey of approximately one hour by car. Please note for those bringing a car there is secure private parking in front of the apartment and you will be issued with a code for the electronic gates

About Mrs Anna Farah

I grew up in West Wales where my family owned and ran caravan parks and holiday cottages. This gave me an excellent grounding in providing holiday makers with accommodation which meets their high expectations. I consider myself very privileged to have welcomed so many exceptionally lovely people from all over the world to stay at our apartment over the last four years.

What makes this apartment unique

With large south facing windows this apartment has a wonderfully calming feel. It has an excellent lay out and with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and provides a great deal of flexibility for our visitors. It is a quiet location which ensures our guests get an opportunity to recharge the batteries after a long day sightseeing. If you do want a day off from sightseeing in London Bromley has a vibrant town centre and indoor shopping mall.

A beautiful apartment-well situated!

This apartment is exactly as promised-modern, spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. Anna, the owner was fantastic and had provided helpful information on the surrounding area and attractions.
The gated community provided secure parking for our car. It is a short walk to Bromley North for a choice of restaurants and public transport into London is also a short walk away.
We know the Bromley area very well and can highly recommend this apartment to anyone considering staying there. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit home! This property met all our expectations.

We stayed a week in this beautiful and comfortable apartment, located next to the train station. Anna, the owner, makes sure that nothing is missing in the apartment, which is totally equipped. The apartment is very cozy and perfect to stay with friends or family, and the owner knows how to keep the guests happy. We will definitely return to this fantastic apartament. Amazing apartment. Full equiped. Gorgeous and cosy

The apartment is really beautiful and lovely. The owner prepared a delicious cake before our arrival. We recomend this apartment to everybody because it's confortable and is located next to the station. We hope to come again because it's fantastic, cosy, and full equiped. It has two double bedrooms and two bathrooms and is very confortable and very clean. 100 % recommended.

A quality 2 bedroom apartment with enough space.

My family stayed at this apartment for 3 weeks in total in June 2011, and really felt at home. Quality furnishings, nicely decorated and the beds were really comfortable. The apartment is exactly how it looks in the photos and staying here allowed us to save some money by making our own meals.

We booked this apartment mainly on the location as we had family close by to visit, however the photos of the apartment were inviting enough to spend that little bit extra on a roomy apartment.

We also hired a car and this apartment had plenty of parking with remote entry on the gates which was also good.

With a 5 minute walk to Sundridge Park train station we got into London within 25 minutes with a train change at Grove Park. Anyone thinking of making this your place of stay, I would strongly recommend this place.

A beautiful well equipped apartment in Bromley

This apartment was excellent. Beautifully furnished with the extra room that makes staying in an apartment so much better than a hotel. Anna welcomed us on arrival and provided some helpful tips for the local area. My family felt very at home here and the apartment provided plenty of room for my young daughter to spread out. It was extremely warm and comfortable being winter and we really appreciated all the little extras that were provided as part of our stay.
We wanted to stay near family and the location was perfect. Also very convenient for travel into the centre of London by train. The local shopping centre and leisure centre were easily accessible by the bus which is just down the road and departs on a very regular basis. We found travelling, even with two very young children, extremely easy and we enjoyed staying in the lovely suburb of Bromley.
I will be recommending this apartment to relatives and friends and recommend it to anyone wanting a spotless apartment with all the little extras.

A fantastic, newly renovated apartment !

My family have just enjoyed a wonderful week at this excellent apartment.

Thank you so much Anna, the apartment was GREAT!

Upon arrival, Anna welcomed us into the apartment, which was spotless, and very nicely decorated. It was ideally located, away from the noise and hustle of Central London (20 minutes by train), yet with extremely easy access to both Bromley North and Bromley South train stations.

We have travelled the world staying in furnished, short-stay apartments, and this was as good as it gets !

Everything in the review is correct. The apartment was spotlessly clean, and newly renovated. Travelling is easy - 3 stations within half a mile, and a weekly travel card is only 45 pounds. Bromley is a lovely town, with good shopping, and it is very safe. We frequently walked home from the train late at night and felt very comfortable.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to friends or family, and will stay there again when next in London.
