IT WILL BE SITUATED MOMENTS AWAY FROM OUR PREVIOUS PROPERTY ON A GATED DEVELOPMENT WITH TEN ACRES OF PRIVATE PARKLAND. WE ARE CONFIDENT IT WILL OFFER OUR GUESTS AN EXCEPTIONAL BASE FOR VISITING LONDON AND KENT.
Enjoy the benefits of a visit to London without the hassle and congestion of the city centre by staying in our stunning apartment. We are located in Bromley North, a traditional leafy suburb of south east London with a vibrant town centre. An easy three minute walk leads to Sundridge Park railway station, where frequent trains take you to the centre of London in approximately twenty minutes. An inexpensive travel card covers you for the return train journey as well as allowing unlimited access to the extensive underground and bus service of central London.
Our apartment is located within Abingdon House, a grand, Edwardian mansion set within its own communal, lawned gardens. The centrally heated, first floor apartment is approached via a wide sweeping wooden staircase from a communal lobby and secure main entrance. The apartment, which was totally renovated and tastefully modernised in 2006, is one of only six apartments in this wing of the original property.
The apartment’s main living/dining area is tastefully furnished and provides a relaxing venue to recover from sightseeing or to enjoy a meal. The décor is modern but comfortable and compliments the honey oak floors which run throughout the living area and hallway. Adjacent to the living area is a fully equipped modern kitchen with ceramic flooring and granite worktops. There is a comprehensive range of china, glass and cooking equipment and a six burner stainless steel range oven on which to prepare a meal, should you wish to.
Getting to the apartment: Bromley can be easily reached by car from the airports which surround London or , if required , we can arrange a taxi cab to collect/deliver you. Alternatively the Eurotunnel terminal at Ebbsfleet is a half hour journey away with regular Eurostar trains to the continent. For those wishing to drive to London from the continent the Eurotunnel and Ferry services can be found at Folkestone and Dover, a journey of approximately one hour by car. Please note for those bringing a car there is secure private parking in front of the apartment and you will be issued with a code for the electronic gates

I grew up in West Wales where my family owned and ran caravan parks and holiday cottages. This gave me an excellent grounding in providing holiday makers with accommodation which meets their high expectations. I consider myself very privileged to have welcomed so many exceptionally lovely people from all over the world to stay at our apartment over the last four years.

As long time residents of Bromley my family and I believe it offers the very best location for holiday makers to London who want to explore the city but would also like to visit the beautiful countryside of Kent and Surrey.
With large south facing windows this apartment has a wonderfully calming feel. It has an excellent lay out and with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and provides a great deal of flexibility for our visitors. It is a quiet location which ensures our guests get an opportunity to recharge the batteries after a long day sightseeing. If you do want a day off from sightseeing in London Bromley has a vibrant town centre and indoor shopping mall.

Bromley is one of London’s largest boroughs and is a friendly and pleasant town. It boasts a theatre, leisure centre, large screen cinema and an extensive indoor shopping precinct with many well known high street stores as well as smaller, specialist shops and restaurants. Further eating establishments can be found within Bromley and neighbouring villages, offering every cuisine from local Kentish Fayre in country pubs to Michelin starred modern European dining. Additional historical sites of interest and entertainment venues, including the O2 stadium, can be found in neighbouring Greenwich. The apartment is ideally located for travel to the Olympic site at Stratford in 2012. Slightly further afield it is a short drive or rail journey into the beautiful county of Kent, renowned as the ‘Garden of England’. Here you can explore stately homes, castles and quaint Kentish villages
