The Escala Lodge is a ski-in, ski-out luxury mountain resort in the heart of the Canyons Mountain Village. It’s the wide variety of terrain, the “Best Snow on Earth,” and the world-class amenities that attract skiers and boarders from every corner to the Canyons. Four-thousand acres and a few hundred million in recent mountain upgrades guarantee it. The Escala's semi-private lift is just out the door. Neighboring Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley combine for over 9000 acres of riding and then there’s the back country.
The Escala Lodge is just 30 minutes from the Salt Lake International Airport. Visitors can take a morning flight from either coast and be on the slopes the same day. Park City is a historic old west mining town turned ultra chic. The Escala Lodge is located just minutes from down town. Explore oodles of shopping, galleries, dining experiences, and fashionable lounges.
Bringing a new level of sophistication to the destination, the Hyatt Escala Lodge Park City is reminiscent of the grand European lodges of a bygone era. From the time you arrive at the lodge the quality will speak to you: native mountain stone, heavy timber trusses, beams and braces - all reminiscent of great lodges from an earlier date, only updated with today’s modern amenities and concierge services.
Summer in Park City
Summer season in Park City is as vogue as ski season. The alpine climate is warm and comfortable. Golfers enjoy the half-dozen public golf courses in and about Park City. There are hundreds of miles of bike and hike trails, a world-class mountain bike park at the Canyons, and a rich mining history to explore. Multiple lakes for wakeboarding, sailing, and fishing are within minutes. Rivers for water rafting, kayaking, and fly fishing are close by too.
Park City is host to a multitude of summertime events. The Tour de Utah, Kimbal Arts Festival, Sunday Silly Market, Wednesday Farmer Market at Canyons, and the Food & Wine Classic showcase summer. The Deer Valley Music Festival and the St. Regis Big Stars Bright Lights Concerts headline a pack of concert series in Park City. Free evening concerts happen weekly on Wednesdays (Deer Valley), Thursdays (New Park), and Saturdays (Canyons).
Fourth of July is an enthusiastic celebration in Park City. All three ski resorts host concerts and fireworks on different days. There is a parade, a town breakfast, a 5k run, a town BBQ, live entertainment, carnival games for the kids, plus a host of other happenings around old town. Miner’s Day over Labor Day weekend is equally festive.
The Canyons gondola and three mid-mountain lifts operate during the summer season for hiking, mountain biking, and sightseeing. Ride the gondola to 8,000 feet with your bike to access the Canyons Bike Park and some of Park City's most popular trails including the famous Mid Mountain trail. Moose, deer, fox, and others freely range the resort. There is a stocked fishing pond with paddle boats. The Canyons operates a mid-mountain cafe and a 50+ mph zip line that travels nearly ½ mile and over twenty stories up.
Neighboring Park City Mountain resort has a host of alpine amusements. At Olympic park, next to the Canyons, the world’s best freestyle skiers are readying for winter. The freestylers are jumping daily and do Saturday all-star shows. Olympic Park has another 50mph zipline and if that’s not enough, try the bobsled.

About Mariana Baserga
We have lived in Park City since 2004 and our home is very close to the Canyons. My husband and I- together with our 4 children and dog- enjoy the amazing Park City outdoors life by hiking, mountain biking and skiing whenever out of school or work.
We like to keep our place in the best shape and take pride of it.
I believe that the biggest advantage is that we are always available to manage our condo and to give you personalized attention.

What makes this condo unique
Basically, it is a unique larger 1 king bedroom floor plan that can very comfortably accommodate up to 6 people with 2 full bathrooms (the other 1 bedroom units at the Hyatt may offer a queen size bed in the master bedroom, no fireplace in the bedroom, 1 bathroom and only sleep up to 4 people).
