PARKING/CARS/TAXIS/ FLIGHTS/TRANSFERS: There is very limited parking in ST ANTON.

If you go to the town hall(Gemeinder) on the high street, you can buy a ticket to put in your car for approx 7EU per day, and you will be told where to park.

CAR HIRE. DON'T FORGET SNOW CHAINS!! Available form all the airports. Buy a tax disc at Austrian border if you are hiring outside of Austria (Not expensive but BIG fines) Petrol cheaper in switzerland than austria, so fill up on swiss side.

COACH to St Anton from Zurich, Innsbruck

Arlberg Express (Zurich) operate a coach service to St.Anton at weekends. This coach meets the Ryanair flights each day and the cost is 45 Euro one way or 85 Euro retun. You should be aware that this is a shuttle and the bus will most likely go via several resorts and at busy times the transfer can take several hours. Tel No. 0043 5582 226

Good TRAIN route available from INNSBRUCK, ZURICH and SALZBURG to St Anton. Look at rail planner http://www.oebb.at/en/index.jsp

Flying from UK/Ireland/ transfers etc: There are several airports that you can fly into - I would recommend Memmingen, Innsbruck, Zurich or Salzburg but you can also use Basle & Munich (Easyjet) or Stuttgart (German Wings) but these are further away from the resort. Also for those of you wanting to fly from Ireland: Ryanair fly to Memmingen & Salzburg from Dublin. Air Lingus fly to Zurich, Salzburg & Munich from Dublin, Cork, Knock & Shannon.

Flying to Innsbruck. Closest airport to ST Anton: INSBRUCK.

BA, Easyjet & Thomson fly into Innsbruck from Gatwick. It is very easy to get from Innsbruck to St.Anton, either by Train, Car or taxi. Air Berlin fly into Innsbruck from Stansted but only on Thursday & Friday. A problem that you can encounter when flying to Innsbruck is being diverted to somewhere like Munich or Salzburg if the weather is bad at Innsbruck. Always check your flight prior to your return journey home in case of diversions

TrainThere is a train service to St.Anton from Innsbruck. Simply take a taxi from the airport to the railway station, all you need to do is check the train times to see how they will work with your flight - journey planner http://www.oebb.at/en/index.jsp

BY CAR The journey from Innsbruck to St.Anton. Very easy, 1 hour and mostly dual carriageway. Leave the airport and follow the signs to the A12. When you reach the A12 follow the signs towards Bregenz and Arlberg. Stay on the A12 all of the way until you reach the exit for St.Anton.

Prime Location!! Accommodating/responsive owners!

I traveled with a group of 8 and rented both units available through this owner. The units are located directly next to each other and are the only 2 units on the top floor.

The location of these apartments is awesome! They are centrally located in town surrounded by restaurants, bars, grocery stores, cafes, pharmacy, spa/gym, etc. Most importantly, they are located less then a 5min walk from the train station and less then a 5min walk to the ski lifts. The apartments themselves provide all the essentials, checking all of the boxes. We were able to cook meals for a large group in the kitchen and were glad that both units included a dish washer. We were also happy that a washer/dryer is available for use in the basement. The living rooms were spacious and provided plenty of room for relaxing.

The owners were great to work with and were very responsive to all of our questions. I would highly recommend these apartments and these owners in particular.

This apartment won't let you down. It's literally less than a 5 minute walk from the train station, the supermarket and most importantly the slopes. When you're greated with a bottle of wine and a massive milka chocolate bar you know you've arrived at the right place to spend your holidays.

It's perfect for a 4 people. If you're a group of 6 you need to be close friends as you'll be sharing a bathroom and 2 people sleep in the living room. However the owner was very upfront about this and warned us that it might be too tight.

The kitchen is small but allows to cook for 6 and stocks all the essential appliances. The living area is very spacious and even with the 2 beds in it there was more than enough room the lounge.

The whole renting process is extremely simple as you're dealing with the owners and not some management company. They thought of absolutely everything down to easy key collection for late arrival and a info brochure with the best apres-ski spots.

We'll be back!

A great property in an excellent location.

We really enjoyed our stay. We primarily chose this property for its location in the centre of St Anton. This was brilliant for access to the slopes, shops, bars and restaurants, though it was a little noisy in the early hours as people left the clubs. The apartment was spacious, clean and well maintained and furnished to a good standard. The bed in the main bedroom and the sofa bed, however, were not very comfortable and the bathroom is probably due for an update. The kitchen was well equipped. The owners of the apartment were helpful and attentive at all times, providing excellent customer service. St Anton is a top class ski resort with extensive and demanding skiing. The town is pretty and lively, with plenty of bars and restaurants. The slopes were busier than I ever remember. We would definitely recommend this apartment, particularly to those who appreciate a central location. We had a great holiday and would happily return in the future.

I would like to say that we find the double bed comfortable, but it is a firm mattress so not to everyones taste. There is a mattress topper to be put on the sofa bed in the cupboard with all the bed linen, which does make it much much more comfy, but it is a sofa bed and is such is an extra bed which we offer with only a weekly charge for the bed linen etc if there is a 5th guest.

We are planning to renovate and modernise the bathroom of this apartment NO 20 over this summer 2014.
In our second apartment in this building No 23, the bathroom has been fully replaced and modernised over last summer and guests have commented how nice it is

Officious and straightforward owner made the rental of this property easier with good communication throughout.

Location is everything with this apartment.

The apartments are 30 seconds from the main pedestrian walkway and 2 mins from the main galzig lift. Both provide a good level of comfort and space for 4 people. (more than 4 requires the use of the sofa beds in the lounge). Kitchen is well stocked and has a nice seating area. Good range of home comforts with DVDs and magazines for use, and a great owners guide to the restaurants and bars in town.

The only slight negatives are that the bathroom is small and the shower attachment is too low for anyone greater than 5ft8 and the glass panel is difficult to get in / out of the bath but overall this is a small blip on a otherwise great landscape.

Great value for money in an unbeatable location. We will be back.

Lovely apartment in great location

I stayed in this apartment with my family and had a great time. We caught the train from Innsbruck airport and only had to walk a few minutes from the station to get to the apartment. The ski hire was again only a few minutes walk away and when we said where we were staying, they gave us free ski storage for the week. The lift stations were equally close. Shops, restaurants, bars all nearby.
The apartment was warm, clean,comfortable and well equipped. We had everything we needed. We would stay again if we went to St Anton.
Very helpful owner and great communication.

These 2 apartments are situated in the best part of the idyllic and lively village of ST Anton am Arlberg village centre. Tirol.(1300m) One of the best ski areas in Europe with skiing up to 2811M, reliable snow right down to the village, Snow cannons, 440 KM of descents, Great off piste with heliskiing available near by, and state of the art lift system (85lifts).

Fantastic apres ski. restaurants etc both on and off the slope!

In summer, Golf, biking,climbing hiking, rafting, horse-riding canoeing are all available. Summer skiing is available in Hintertux.

Sightseeing. Innsbruck (90km) Lake constance (90km) Bregenz , Lindau.
