This premium 630 sq ft condo is located in the historic and elegantly restored Bab's building. The charismatic Babs, built in 1905, will take you to the soul of the Missoula community in a heartbeat. Centrally located on Missoula's vibrant Hip Strip, the Babs is surrounded by the city's best restaurants and bakeries. Everything is just a walk away.

The condo has been thoughtfully designed for a homey 'Scandinavian feel' and is ideal for out of town visitors looking to explore Missoula and the surrounding area. High ceilings and new windows bring lots of natural light to the space. Updated bathroom, appliances and other amenities are complimented by the original rough oak floors and vintage porcelain sinks reminding visitors of the old times. The master bedroom comes with a private bathroom, air conditioner, a king-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress and solid wood hickory bed frame and nightstands. The living room with two couches is made for relaxation. Search the web using high speed wireless internet, watch a movie or play Wii on the HD flat screen TV, or read a book in the rocking chair.

Along with this clean, comfortable and secure condo come the additional onsite features for relaxation and entertainment:

- An entirely renovated, communal basement lounge including an official sized pool table, a big screen Cable TV and comfortable seating. Also an icebox, sink, toilet, and washer and dryer are easily accessible.

- A classic, fenced garden with a large communal patio including chairs, tables, benches and a propane Viking grill.

Kindly note: Families with kids welcome! inside the condo's storage closet can be found: a pack and play crib with blankets, pillows and linens. Also a high chair, an umbrella stroller, books, toys, stuffed animals and some kid's dining ware.

The condo is on the first floor. The washer and dryer and the communal lounge are located in the basement, one flight of stairs down.

About Jenni Rohrbach

Missoula, as for many people, is a special place to us. It is where we met as students in college and where we always knew we wanted to call home. After school, however, life and work took us to Asia, Finland and New York City, before we could both settle back in Missoula together and start our family. Now with our daughter Maija, we are pleased to share all that the Missoula community has to offer with visitors at our Bab’s condo.

Why Jenni Rohrbach chose Missoula

Jenni first came to Missoula as an exchange student attending grad school from Finland. She immediately fell in love with the surrounding landscape and community but most of all Kurt. Kurt’s family is from the area and always knew the Montana lifestyle was the only one for him. They both enjoy the outdoor and cultural opportunities Missoula has to offer including skiing up Pattee Canyon, taking their daughter Maija to Missoula’s award winning Children’s Theater or enjoying Missoula’s restaurants, breweries and distilleries. They feel fortunate to call Missoula home and are pleased to share their love of the area with each of their guests.

The Babs is one of Missoula’s premiere historic buildings. Located near several of Missoula’s gems including downtown, the Kim Williams trail and the University, visitors can easily walk or bike to restaurants, shopping, bars, and hiking trails. Not to mention the best ice cream (The Big Dipper), pastries (Le Petite) and beer (Kettle House) are just around the corner. In addition, the condo itself is fully stocked with the comforts of home including a full-kitchen, children’s amenities (pack n’ play, high chair, books and toys as well as eating utensils) and king-size temperpedic bed. The Babs also offers a rec room with pool table and a garden area with a Viking grill available for guest use.

In the middle of all the action!

Stayed in Missoula for a family wedding and hadn't visited before. This is the perfect location to be able to walk to everything downtown. There are also coffee shops and restaurants right across the street if you don't want to go far. Our car ended up needing new brakes while we were there and we were able to drop it off and walk 5 minutes back to Bab's, not having a car for the day didn't even phase us. The weather was turning a bit chilly and after leaving a message for Jenni, the heat was turned on within hours. Great place and owner. Thanks!

Home away from home

Stayed at Bab's during Missoula Marathon weekend and loved the convenience. Rarely needed my car as the location was centrally located, yet I was not affected by the noise of businesses nearby. The condo is tastefully decorated and has just about anything one would need. Jenni was always really available and very prompt about returning my refund. Would definitely recommend!

I've been traveling to Missoula to visit my daughter for 15 years. This location is one of the best from from which to walk to coffee shops, bakeries, downtown restaurant or nice long walks. Just enough space for a couple of people, comfortable bed, kitchen and living quarters. Nice and clean as well!

Cozy and comfortable condo in a nicely renovated historic building. The proximity to The River Trail, UM, the best bakery (provides breads to many restaurants in Missoula), the notable Bridge Pizza - not just pizza, btw. Downtown is just a few steps from this condo. Notes:
-The condo has a very large storage closet, which has plenty of room for luggage etc. Inside the storage there are additional supplies for renters to use. For instance, a step stool, bedding, beach towels, flash light, umbrella, batteries, a broom, a vacuum cleaner and other cleaning supplies etc. - A user friendly combination lock box with entry keys is available for flexible (late night) check-in times upon request. - A no shoes policy is highly recommended, in order to keep the condo nice and neat.
