This condo is very nicely furnished, the beds are comfortable (& have great pillows and linens,) and the views from the front windows are nice. Jamie is great to work with, and could not have been more accommodating. He had delicious pastries, fruit and wine waiting for us, and told us about the neighborhood. We had a little problem with the front door on Saturday morning and he took care of it promptly. We walked everywhere, but when we wanted a taxi, we had no problem getting one in front of the condo. The new John Besh/Aaron Sanchez restaurant "Johnny Sanchez" is just a couple of blocks away - don't miss the guacamole. I would definitely stay here again when visiting New Orleans.
We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. Obviously, it is on the higher end price-wise, but you get your money's worth. It is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of space and tall ceilings. There are new/modern fixtures and all the amenities. It was like staying in a 5 star resort. Truly peaceful and really quiet. I slept better there than I do at home sometimes. It is in a convenient location too, walking distance from the French Quarter and everywhere else you would want to go (TIP: Looking for a great breakfast spot, try The Ruby Slipper a few blocks down). Also, the condo's rooftop patio is to die for! Gorgeous 360 degree view of the city. Bonus - there is an awesome bar on the bottom floor of the building, called Victory. Yummy food/drinks and nice ambiance. Additionally, Jamie was very helpful and was good at communicating with me up to our arrival and after we left. Overall, this is an ideal place to stay for the luxurious traveler!
WYSIWYG. I really loved this condo on the second floor, just far enough from the craziness that is the French Quarter. The condo is definitely walking distance to the FQ, WWII Museum, Superdome for just about everyone that is mobile. The pictures are exactly representative of the condo interior. If anything, the place is larger than what is portrayed. My party consisted of 2 couples and the third couple opted for an upscale hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience much more than had we stayed in the confines of a hotel. Your discriminating taste will thank you for choosing this condo. Thanks to Jamie and Vania for making the "check-in" super easy.
We came into New Orleans for a wedding and brought our 15 month old with us. The condo was great walking distance to almost all of our events and sight-seeing. The management company was able to provide a pack-n-play for our stay as well. The condo is very nice and clean with big windows and the patio upstairs was a blessing for our little one to get out and run around a bit. We highly recommend this rental. Make sure you eat at Domenica (down the street) while you're here, delicious.
The apartment was not only spacious and luxurious, but also comfortable. A combination that is hard to find. It gives the real feel of New Orleans with the high ceilings, private elevator, wood floor, and tall windows. The condo added to our experience and is not just a place to sleep. It was convenient to everything -- Garden district, parks, streetcars, and the French quarter without the noise. Will stay here again. Thanks, Jaimie.
The apartment is amazing - spacious with very classy decoration, huge comfy beds and good quality toiletries. It's in a great location; close to the action but far enough away to feel peaceful in a buzzing city - best of both worlds!
Jamie met us at the apartment personally and gave us some invaluable parking/grocery store/restaurant tips. He also text us during our stay to let us know that a free Jazz Festival was on in the city during our stay!
I would recommend this apartment in a heartbeat!
