Thank you for inquiring about our vacation home, 'The Coral Cottage'. This 1930 home has just finished a high end renovation with a Southern Coastal décor. It features a new kitchen with espresso cabinets and of course all of the utensils and cookery you could need to whip up a fabulous meal. The living room and dining room offer 12 foot ceilings and wood flooring with a driftwood look. The master bedroom features a private en suite bath with white Carrera marble floors and large walk in shower. From your master bedroom you can step out onto a spacious deck over looking your lush and private yard. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a super comfy memory foam mattress, the 2nd bedroom has a pillow top queen bed and the third bedroom has a single bed. There is an inside laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. Only about 5 to 10 minutes by car to downtown Tampa, Tampa General Hospital and St. Joe's Hospital, Raymond James Stadium, and more. Our beautiful Gulf Beaches are about 30 minutes away. Maximum sleeping capacity is 6 people. Riverside Heights got its start in the 1920's and enjoyed a post World War II building boom. It is tucked along the eastern border of the Hillsborough River where homes on the water sell for upwards of over a $1,000,000. We live here and we love it and we're sure you'll love it too!
My husband and I own this property and 4 other properties in the neighborhood. We love this urban Tampa community and being so close to great restaurants and shopping. I am a Realtor with Keller Williams South Tampa and my husband is an artist/photographer.
Leslie Sibbitt purchased this bungalow in 1993
My husband owned this property before we met and married. It sat empty for a long time and then we decided to renovate it.
We love this home because of it's quiet charm, and the lush yard with it's thick canopy of trees, and the great neighborhood feel of this community
Couldn't have been happier with our stay at Leslie's place! Everything was very clean and modern. Felt safe in the neighborhood. She and her husband were very accomodating, even offering suggestions of places to go for food, groceries, etc. They responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!
The cottage was just what the pictures showed, It was very clean! The deck was nice to sit and read. The owners do care about the property and there is someone there frequently cleaning the yard and trimming bushes, I would stay here again and highly recommend this lovely cottage.
Spent 2 weeks in this lovely bungalow over Christmas and the New Year. Had a most enjoyable time. Lovely bungalow very nicely decorated and equipped in a safe and quiet neighbourhood. Very nice outside area, perfect for reading and a nice glass of wine after a busy day. Some good restaurants close by to suit all tastes.
We stayed 7 nights and enjoyed the home. Close to downtown and Ybor city , and was perfect for two couples. We thought the yard and gardens were spectacular . Good rental for a modest price.
Lovely bungalow short driving distance to downtown Tampa and Ybor City entertainment areas. Sleeps 5 comfortably but seating in living room is poor and uncomfortable. Kitchen is sparsely supplied with dishes--don't plan on cooking meals here. Sparse dining and living room lighting could be improved, also some bulbs were not working. Bathrooms nicely updated but need towel racks. Some attention to providing these necessities would really improve customer enjoyment.
This place was wonderful. It was well decorated, well stocked, and extremely comfortable. I hope to turn my new home into as nice of a place!
We (3 adults including an elderly lady) stayed at Coral Cottage for a week while in Florida for a wedding this month. It was adorable! The renovation was done very well, the house was extremely comfortable and we lacked for nothing. I was charmed by the huge yard and the flowers, and tropical foliage, and loved my morning coffee and reading outside on the back deck listening to the birds.
The house was clean and very well-stocked. We found it a good location for all the running around we had to do. It was very cost-effective compared to what two hotel rooms would have set us back. The beds were very comfortable. The only thing missing was a full-length mirror for us to check our gorgeous selves before heading off to the wedding. :)
I was sorry to leave this lovely little home when it was time to leave. If in Tampa again, we would stay there in a heartbeat.
