Villa Maria is a beautiful luxury villa located in the southern part of Phuket within 3 minutes drive to the renowned Nai Harn beach.It comprises of 600sqm under roof and is set in a private development of three villas nestled between a luscious rubber plantation and coconut grove.It is a perfect hideaway for a large group or 2/3 families. It comprises of 5 double bedrooms all en-suite over two levels. The ground floor is split between a 2 bedroom semi self contained area with its own kitchenette, living and dining room. The main living area covering half the downstairs area comes with a fully fitted western kitchen, a 3m dining room table, 3 large leather sofas and a home theatre system. All rooms downstairs open out onto a sundeck, sala, stunning child friendly pool set in beautiful landscaped gardens. The sala with kitchenette is ideal for alfresco dining. Upstairs comprises of 3 further double bedrooms, a cloakroom, study and lounge opening onto a balcony overlooking the pool area.

Notes on accommodation: The villa is tastefully furnished with a mixture of contemporary furniture, Chinese antiques, Asian artworks and Thai silks which complement the rich wooden flooring throughout the whole upstairs. Our in house staff can prepare your favourite Thai dishes and Western breakfasts which include fresh fruit, juices, bacon and eggs. food and alcoholic beverages can be bought from the local markets/supermarkets. Depending on your requirements a reliable driver with air-conditioned minibus or car will pick you up from the airport and can be organised for the duration of your stay. A welcome pack is included on arrival including tea, coffee, water, juice, bread, milk and fruit. Babysitting is available at a nominal fee. The villa is very child friendly with a detachable pool fence, high chairs, baby-cot, four pull out beds, pool toys and an extensive selection of DVDs.

Outside: Villa Maria is approached via a secluded road that services the three villas in the development. It has a double carport for secure parking. Complete privacy is secured in the walled private garden containing a stunning pool with outdoor shower. It is accessed through bi-folding doors and throughout all rooms downstairs. Our sala lends itself to perfect alfresco dining a 10 seater dining table, kitchenette and BBQ. The balcony is perfect place to unwind after a day at the beach with views of the coconut grove and rubber plantations. All outdoor furniture is of a contemporary design with 5 sun loungers placed around the pool to help make your stay as relaxing as possible.

Nai Harn has rightfully earned the reputation of being one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. it is a perfect place to relax and is located about a 1.5km from the villa. Speed boats and long tail boats are available for hire on a daily basis from Rawai and Chalong, a 5 and 10 minute drive away respectively and is a perfect way to explore the beautiful islands of Lon, Bon or Coral Island. All the major dive and deep sea fishing sites are accessed by boat from Chalong Pier and depending on the season Nai Harn is prefect for body and kite surfing. If water sports are not for you there are a number of golf courses nearby. Relax in the many spas nearby including the 5 star Le Meridan and Evason Hotels. Groceries can be bought locally at the fresh markets or Western supermarkets and there are a number of restaurants nearby serving both fantastic Thai and European cuisine. If you are looking for exciting night-life Kata, Karon and Patong are within easy driving distance.

  • All our bathrooms are en-suite. They are generously sized with floor to ceiling tiled walls and granite counter tops. There are showers in all the rooms and baths in bedrooms 3,4 and 5. Luxury locally handmade soaps, shampoo shower gel and body lotion are provided.

Notes: As well as the large western style kitchen with all mod cons there is a separate self contained area with kitchenette and living room ideal for guests or a second family. The sala is ideal for alfresco dining and comes complete with a 10 seater table, kitchenette and BBQ. Both living rooms have 3 large leather sofas. Downstairs provides ample room for a 3m dining table, 42' plasma TV with home entertainment system complete with DVD and music library, iPod docking station and table tennis table. Upstairs opens out onto an alternative seating area on the balcony over looking the pool and rubber plantation. A full time house keeper and chef live in and provide exceptional service and fantastic Thai meals. All food is bought from local markets and charged at cost. Bedlinen, bath and pool towels are provided and a free in house laundry service is included. Swimming pool and garden is attended on a regular basis.

Villa Maria is a first class kid friendly villa in a lovely part of Phuket. We have now stayed there a couple of times and on both visits were extremely happy. The villa facilities are great and everything is very kid friendly - on our last visit we had five chidren under four years old in our group! Dui and Gui the housekeepers are great and amazing cooks and are better than any of the local restaurants! We would highly recommend Villa Maria to anyone looking for a relaxing family stay.

Villa Maria embraced our exhausted bodies in Phuket open jungle arms, swaddled us in super relaxing, cool contemporary style, spoiled us with speciality local thai cuisine in-house until we were human enough to take on life on the island.

That we were merely a couple of skips and a jump to either a virtually deserted white-sand, palm tree laden beach or the thriving hub of the island made it easy to satisfy even our dichotomous holiday whims.

The manager is an oracle of local knowledge, the housekeepers sense of initiative a treat and a half and the driver's friendly and helpful disposition all set a holidaying standard to be reckoned with.

We had an amazing stay in the most luxurious surroundings. The villa was of the highest standard every detail had been thought of, down to the extensive DVD collection. The cook and food was the best we tasted on the Island and the staff were so friendly and keen to help with the children.

The most amazing villa and best I have ever stayed at.

When in Phuket would definately stay again!

Stunning Villa - highly recommend

Wow - Villa Maria is beautiful. We stayed for 8 nights and it wasn't long enough! We went with friends, so two families with a total of 5 children. It was perfect, so much room for everyone and plenty of areas to go and sit and relax. The villa is immaculate and caters for all your needs.
Dui and Gai were very good. The food was beautiful, highly recommend everything on the menu and the breakfasts were outstanding.
Nai Harn beach is a 20 minute walk away with children, ours were aged between 6 and 8. The beach is gorgeous and very quiet. The whole area was quite and the villa was private and secluded which is what we all wanted. At the same time it was very easy to get around and visit other areas.
The pool is glorious and we all made good use of it! The holiday was booked with ease and the holiday continued in the same way, it was amazing. I have already recommended the villa to friends and we will definitely re-visit. Thank you so much!

Best Holiday In A Long Time

Wow. Where to start?
The actual villa is stunning. It's huge and beautifully decorated with an amazing pool and backyard area.
We met some family members from Australia there as it was centrally located for us and there was just so much space and so many different living areas to go and relax and find a quiet space if you needed.
The owners have children themselves so the pool fence was a huge relief for us. The range of toys was exceptional. My son thought he was in toy heaven and was so sad when we finally had to go home.
The location is about a 4-5 minute drive to the stunning Nai Harn beach (approx 20 minute walk). As we had young children, we opted to hire a "Tuk Tuk" bus for most days which ferried us to the shops and beach etc as we needed.
What made the holiday absolutely luxurious, was the chef and housemaid. Dui (the chef) is so talented. She presented us with a Thai Banquet to share between the group on many of the evenings. The dishes she created were as good as any Thai restaurant that we have ever been to.
Gay, the housemaid saw that all of our washing was laundered each day and together with Dui that the house was kept spotless.
We will definately be coming to Villa Maria again next year.
