Chalet Chamois is a large (150m2) luxury chalet style apartment ideally situated 50m from a quiet ski lift at Nyon. This 4 bedroomed, 4 en-suite bathroom apartment has been designed with all the features of a typical Savoyard chalet with the added benefit of being ideally located right next to the piste and a 2 min walk to the Telepherique. It is virtually ski in - ski out being located right next to the Telepherique and within 25m of the piste home. The piste home is a blue run.

The apartment has a very large lounge with seating for 8, dining table which sleeps 10 and a kitchen area making it ideally suited to self - catering. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, 4 hob cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. The apartment has Freeview TV, WiFi and a DVD player. It is well equipped for families with access to a small garden area and also has easy access to parking with a double garage.

We had a really great time –despite the lack of fresh snow and the chalet was lovely. It was pretty perfect for us so I am not really sure about ways to improve - Peter and Angela where very nice, the rooms where made up beautifully and the kitchen well stocked with equipment. We really appreciated the kitchen being stocked with things like herbs etc as I always hate having to chuck perfectly good stuff at the end of a week I was very happy to leave our bits and bobs at the end as well. The balcony gets nice and sunny which is great. And we really appreciated being able to control the heat (ie not have it on all the time) as we are all used to boiling up in chalets we have stayed in before.



Such a nice chalet – beautifully decorated, wonderfully comfortable and really welcoming (especially for a self catering apartment). And that awesome run home is pretty fantastic as well…

MOST BEAUTIFUL INTERIOR DESIGN!

Wow! That will be your first thought when you enter this apartment. Because of the use of old wooden details and the split level it feels like a whole chalet of your own. The apartment is very complete, well-maintained and all bedrooms are equipped with bath/ shower and toilet. If you've never been to Morzine before, take a look at the visitors map before you go out. It provides very useful information. The walk to Morzine centre is lovely and takes you 20 minutes along the 'Sentier de Renard'. If you want to ski to Avoriaz (and the rest of Portes du Soleil), taking the bus in front of the apartment (every 25 min.) to the Morzine express (10 min.) is the quickest way. We spent 2 weeks here with our 3 children (age 9-12) and would certainly recommend it.

YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER PLACE IN MORZINE!

The chalet was amazing, it was fitted out as if you were at home with all the mod cons that make the stay all that bit more enjoyable. The view from the lounge is picture postcard of the ski run back to the area next to the chalet.
There is a good range of restaurants in Morzine that are only a short 5 minute drive by car, there is a bus service from the nearby carpark but it does stop running in the evening.
The nearest lift is the Nyon cable car that is only about a 3 minute walk and easy enough for the children first thing in the morning.
Highly recommended would go again.

MUCH MORE OF A CHALET THAN AN APARTMENT

Although this is technically an apartment, the minute you step in the door you feel like you are in a stand alone chalet. This is due ot the size and the fact that It is on 3 levels (with a mezzanine area where you come in the door) and the high ceilings and general feeling of space. It has been furnished with great attention to detail and really feels like "home" and not at all like the usual apartment for rent.

Location is great because it is virtually ski in and ski out. I have stayed here many times and it is a very quiet location. But you can still walk into town (or catch the last ski bus down, and take a taxi back) for the nightlife.

All in all, a great place to stay.

FANTASTIC CHALET

We've stayed in this appartment several times and can't fault it! It's very well-equipped and beautifully decorated. A great base for families with lots of excellent skiing, sledging and lovely walks (it's also walking distance into town). Free shuttle bus to other ski runs leaves from just outside the door. Also masses of storage for all your gear.

The owners are very helpful and friendly and there's a local building manager on hand too, should you need him.

Morzine is a picturesque Alpine town with lots of good restaurants and an eclectic mix of shops, including delis, boutiques, gift shops, local crafts/pottery, as well as skiwear of course!

Highly recommended. We'll be back soon!
