The Royal Kuhio is located in the 'Heart of Waikiki'. You can walk to the beach and all Waikiki attractions. You are just minutes away from several fine restaurants, first-class shopping, and the most beautiful beaches.

You can take tours of all the popular tourist attractions on the Island of Oahu. This condo provides a free parking stall, so you can drive around the entire island and visit all the places you desire. It is a drive you will always remember because of its beauty and variety. This is your chance to visit Paradise!

This condo is one of the Penthouse Suites at the Royal Kuhio. It is very large with a full modern kitchen with a stove with an oven, large fridge with a freezer, a dishwasher and all utensils and pots and pans so you can prepare meals at the condo an save money.

The condo has two queen beds in the master bedroom, two full beds in the second bedroom and a sofa-sleeper. There are two full baths with all linens furnished. You will have a free parking stall located on the first floor of the parking ramp in the building. Parking usually cost $25 per night so you will be able to have a place to park your car free and go in and out anytime you desire.

The condo has two huge lanais with furniture to relax and enjoy the great views. You will have a fantastic ocean view from one lanai and a Manoa valley view from the other lanai. You will see beautiful rainbows in the valley. You can watch the fireworks show every Friday night from the other lanai. The night views and the sunsets are really colorful and unbelievable. You will remember the views forever. You will be just two blocks to the most famous beaches and world class shopping and restaurants. You can walk to the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, Duke's Statue and Kuhio Beach, and visit all the famous resorts and sites in Waikiki.

We are Peter & Diane we want to welcome you to our dream vacation home in Hawaii. We have been nuts about Hawaii since our honeymoon trip to Waikiki in 1973. Buying a cozy vacation home to share with children and grandchildren was a natural. We would like to share this modern, totally new, luxury two bedroom, with others looking to experience or rediscover the charm and wonders of Waikiki and the beautiful natural beauty of Hawaii. Just on the next street is the 'Heart of Waikiki' lined with little shops, the international market place, and a wide variety of Eateries. Famous Kalakaua Avenue is adjacent to the great Waikiki beaches. It is an ideal place for 'people watching' or going to world class stores. Then there is the rest of the Oahu to explore!

Women's Retreat

Hosted a Women's Retreat for 10 ladies with a personal chef. We had a wonderful time. sleeping space for everyone. The mirror eludes to a larger room, yet we comfortably adjusted when food was serve since the table does not seat 10, a slight bummer. Love the fireworks on Friday night plus there is a nice size wine fridge on the lanai. It was utilized. The chef was able to prepare all meals with ease due to pots, pans and appliances all available in the kitchen.

Only 1 parking stall which created long walks for most and high prices for parking. Overall it was a great experience. The staff very helpful and we had enough fresh towels to accommodate all and that's a bonus!

Great Location & Spacious

Sarah is AMAZING!! She will go out of her way to make sure your stay is relaxing as possible. We were in the center of Waikiki which meant walking distance to the shops and the beach. There is even a Starbucks & Jumba Juice across the street which we loved. If you are taking the public transportation route, the bus stop is conveniently located in front of the building. Those buses can take you directly to the Ala Moana center.

The condo had a little nicks and knacks but nothing drastic. The key was a little difficult to get use to when we had to park our car in the garage but glad that we did have a secured parking spot. The master bathroom needs some renovating but I’m sure it’s in the works. There was enough room for all of us to fit comfortably. The building feels very secured because there is always a security in the front lobby. There is no access to the garage or elevators without having a key. Patio/lanai has a good amount of space and also gives you a great view of the beach and fireworks on Friday's as well. The kitchen was great to have when we wanted to stay in and cook breakfast. There is also a dishwasher which is great. This condo is on the Modern side compared to a few other places I have been to.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. Yes, we are in the process of renovation in the Master bedroom. We are putting a new dresser and a new large TV in the room. We also have plans to update the Master bathroom. We do get a lot of nicks from suitcases, so we will be touching up those as soon as possible. I am glad you enjoyed the great location, the full kitchen, and the free parking that this building offers. It is much larger than any or the other condo hotels that I manage. The huge lanais and the fireworks show on Fridays really make it great. The free parking is probably the most helpful thing about this condo because most places do not have parking or it cost from $25 to $35 per day extra. Having the parking stall lets you see more of the island and also shop in the grocery stores and not have to spend so much eating out. I hope you an visit with us again. Please keep in touch. Aside from the renovated kitchen and living room, the condo needs a lot of TLC to make it a great place. The bedroom door was falling apart and did not close. The patio door's rubber seal was coming off so it was difficult to open and close it and easily came off the track. The cookware had food residue burnt solid at the bottom. On the good side, it offers great view of the mountain and is centrally located. Short walk to Waikiki beach and restaurants.

Owner's Response: Dear Carole, Thanks for your comments on our condo. We are in the process of doing renovations on this condo. We have fixed the lanai door with new rollers so that it opens smoothly now. We have put in a new set of pots and pans to replace the old ones. The door is going to be replaced as soon as we find one to fit. We are also shopping for dressers or chests for the bedroom. One positive comment is that the condo had a great view both of the ocean and the canal. We found the condo to be extremely unkempt and, although there are signs of it being upgraded, there are many unrepaired items. The master bathroom is in dire need of upgrade as well as doors, kitchen appliances. The ice maker, two stove burners and the patio doors need urgent repair. It seems that the exorbitant cleaning fee goes largely unused as the condo was not clean in any stretch of the imagination. For the price of the rent of this condo we would not recommend it.

WE ENJOYED ARE STAY THE PROPERTY WAS EVERTHING IT SAID IT WOULD BE.THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT,I HAVE BEEN TO HAWAII FOUR TIMES AND NEVER BEEN IN THAT AREA ,I THINK THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP FOR ME WAS FINDING DA BIG KAHUNA BAR AND RESTAURANT.WE WILL MOST DEFINETLY STAY THERE AGAIN.IT WAS EIGHT ADULTS WHICH ACCOMMANDATED WELL.THERE WAS FEW THINGS THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESS THO THE STOVE TOOK FOREVER TO COME AND IT WOULD BE NICE IF CABLE WAS IN THE GUEST BEDROOM AND MAYBE SHOWER CHAIR FOR THE EDELERLY,OTHER THAN THAT WE ALL ENJOYED THE CONDO.LOOKING FORWARD TO RETURNING IN 2016.
