2 bedroom apartment will sleep up to 7 people (lounge sofabed) , 47m Plagne 1800

This brand new apartment is situated just below Plagne 1800 above the Olympic bobsleigh run. It will sleep up to 6 /7 people & is furnished in a contemporary style with alpine detail. The living area has a leather double sofa bed, 2 leather chairs, flat screen TV, DVD player, iPod docking, feature log effect fire, selection of books/games & DVDs. There is a Mobalpa kitchen with integrated fridge/freezer, fan oven, ceramic hob and Siemens dishwasher. There is also a microwave and all utensils for cooking and eating. There is a table that can be extended to sit 6 and 4 chairs 'on the wall'. Outside on the wrap around balcony there are an additional 4 chairs and bistro table to enjoy the sun in the afternoon. Bedroom 1 has a triple bunk (double & single) with TV/DVD player on the wall. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. The bedrooms are accessed from the entrance hall,both have large sliding wardrobes & underbed storage drawers.Non Smoking.

There is a FREE SKI BUS that runs from 6am until midnight.This takes you from the apartment to Plagne Centre where you can attend lessons or just start your days skiing. Alternatively you could get the bus down the mountain to La Roche where you can take a 6 man chair to Aime La Plagne .Just one stop down the mountain will take you to the Olympic Bobsleigh run. This is a great opportunity to have a go and experience an Olympic Sport - really good fun! It is possible to stay here without having to use a car. However,

we have a garage too which is invaluable when there is heavy snowfall and guarantees a parking space!

Plagne 1800 is one of the many villages that make up the plagne area. It is the most sympathetic in architecture to the mountain with wooden chalets and soyarod charm. La Plagne forms part of the enormous paradiski area with over 420KM of piste. The apartment is situated 250m away from the nearest piste and conditions permitting good skiers can cross the road and ski directly down to la roche 6 man chair. It is also possible to ski back to the apartment . It is 3 min by car or 10-15min on foot from the bars/shops and restaurants in la plagne. There is an excellent FREE BUS SERVICE to get you around resort hassel free.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency () unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • To secure your week please send a £200 reservation payment to the owner. The balance to be paid 8 weeks before departure.
    £200 rental deposit is required with final payment and will be returned after your stay and the apartment has been checked.
    Rentals run Saturday to Saturday. The apartment is available from 2pm and to be vacated by 10am on departure day - we will be flexible if possible!

  • The apartment layout with both bedrooms accessed off the hall gives everybody staying good privacy. We found that with our children in the triple bunk room we could shut the lounge door and relax knowing they would not be disturbed by people in the lounge enjoying an evening. When guests stay in the lounge they do not disturb anybody in the bedrooms if they need to use the bathroom etc Pillows and duvets provided. Bed linen and towels can be arranged. Fantastic apartment

We read the previous reviews and were happy with what we read. The apartment was well situated and we had a daily pick up from Oxygen ski school. They also gave us a return free ride back to our apartment . Across the road was a path which lead to a red run which was easy to navigate even for my 10 year old who had just learnt to parallel ski.
The apartment had 24/ 7 hot water which was brilliant . There were cleaning products if you wanted to use the bath. The beds were comfortable and the children enjoyed the fact they could watch their DVDs in their own room.
Although there was no live tv there were plenty of DVDs to watch and games to play for even the most active family.
I really appreciated the full kitchen facilities and the fact there was even oxo cubes in the cupboard with teas and coffee.
When we arrived we were greeted by the management which was helpful after a very long drive and she gave us tips on where to park and useful local info.
We are planning to take another holiday and hope the apartment will be free when we plan our trip.

Lovely well equipped apartment

We have just returned from a fab stay in this well appointed apartment. The very generous welcome pack eased us into our stay (especially the wine). Everything was beautifully clean and catered for all our whims after a hard day on the slopes. Plagne 1800 is very close to get to the piste and straight out to enjoy the vast la plagne resort. We didn't do it, but saw lots of people ski out of the apartment and back in again in the evening. We catered for ourselves in the evening but there are lots of nice restaurants nearby. We were thoroughly looked after by the local management who organised lift passes for our arrival. No problem in recommending.

Absolutely Fabulous!

How refreshing to find a resort and accommodation that is as good as it looks! The apartment has everything and more than you could want, a real little home from home but better equiped, well maintained and so much bigger than we expected.
Being only a few minutes drive from Plagne 1800 you have so much choice when it comes to skiing and it really couldn't have been easier. We also managed to ski virtually from the apartment as there is a track across the road that takes you to a lift within minutes. Ski hire and ski school are also readily available.
All this and great bars and restaurants too, both on and off the piste!, We had such a good time and already saving up for a return visit next year!

Great apartment

We stayed in this lovely apartment in February 2011 during the half term break. There were 6 of us - 4 adults and 2 adult sized teenagers. Although the apartment not very big, it is very well designed and we didn't feel at all cramped.

The view from the balcony is wonderful.

The owners were very helpful during the booking and planning process and they also use a local couple to make your stay run as smoothly as possible.

Unfortunately the snow level wasn't quite good enough to allow us to ski from and to the apartment - we drove up to Plagne Central each day and skied from there. As it was half term (and holidays in France too) the parking places in Plagne 1800 were full for the whole week.

We all enjoyed the variety that the ski area has to offer - from beginner slopes, to runs down through the trees. Lovely!

La Plagne Holiday Apartment - great stay!

I have to say, this was my first ski trip for many years and i was not disappointed with either the resort or the accommodation. Our Apartment was only a few minutes drive from Plagne 1800 or if you're inclined, walk across the road and take the ski track down to the next ski lift. Superb views from the living room and balcony when weather permits.

Very warm and cosy, comfortable beds and a brilliant shower to revive me after the skiing. A well equipped kitchen if you need it or go to one of the many restaurants in Plagne Centre. They even have a sound system and DVD player! Recommended!
