About Joe St John

Hello! My wife and I purchased this property as our full time residence a number of years ago and loved living there. As fate would have it, we had to move away for business...but have always kept our little piece of heaven for our own use. Now, with two little ones running around us, we have decided to share the magic of Vail with you and your family!

Joe St John purchased this chalet in 2006

Why Joe St John chose Vail

East Vail is the perfect location for your next mountain vacation. The property is nestled in a quiet little valley with access to the private east vail pond. Only steps to the free Town of Vail bus makes travel to the ski hill stress-free!

Being right on the Town of Vail Bus route makes for quick access to the Village and the ski hill. No more stressing about driving/ parking to go skiing, just hop on the bus!

Upon returning to the house, put the chili on, get your favorite football game fired up and....relax.

Spring retreat in Vail

  • 4 of 5
My family and I enjoyed our stay over Easter weekend. It was a very cozy chalet with comfortable accommodations. We especially loved the stream that runs along the back deck, where we spent a lot of time soaking in the sun! Nice, quiet location. Easy access to the bus stop and to Vail Village.

Adequate but nothing special.

  • 2 of 5
i stayed here for 4 days over spring break. The condo is very small. There is also very limited hot water for the shower. The kitchen had the bare essentials in terms of pots and pans. The location is very close to the bus line and that was great. We brought our dog. Beware the charge for cancellation insurance... it is presented as a required expense, but really is not.

FANTASTICA!!!

  • 5 of 5
Hello! it's the first time we rent a place for vacations, and of course first time on VRBO; We had no trouble finding the right place! this house was perfect for us (2) it has everything you need for the right price!
If you need to take the bus for the mountain or the village, it's only 50 steps away from the house! And the mountain for skiing is 15 minutes away from the house by bus....there's a little market 3 blocks away and has all you need!
The house is warm, has a fire place, the neighborhood is nice, I was very happy there!
if I had to say something wrong about the house is that t's so quiet, you can hear everything inside of the house (even your footsteps) i guess for the people that live in the city with noise would be fantastic, for me, too quiet to be true!
The owner is very nice, we couldn't meet each other, but he was checking on us all the time by mail, seeing if we need anything!
If I go back to Vail, I'll definitely rent this place again!
If you need any advice on Vail, and to see that what I say is TRUE you can check my web page (it's in spanish, I'm Mexican) in Titabarrera.com

Husband and Wife with 2 golden retrievers

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I stayed in this adorable Chalet with our 2 golden retrievers for almost 2 months. Everything that is on the add is exactly as described. It was great to go skiing or hiking and come home to build a cozy fire in the fireplace and enjoy it in the main living area. Wonderful to let the dogs out to the back yard area without any hassle. The owner was exceptional and responded immediately to any request. The location was great and right on the bus route to Vail. We were very pleased with the whole experience!

Perfect Chalet!

  • 5 of 5
We stayed here over Thanksgiving and it could not have been more perfect. It was clean and comfortable with easy access to Vail Village. It had a convenient walking path right behind the chalet to take the four legged friend out for walks. They even left us fire wood for making a fire which was very thoughtful. The owner was super nice and emailed us to make sure the stay was going well since they were out of town for the holiday. Definitely stay here again!

Perfect

  • 5 of 5
Perfect little condo in East Vail. We had a small group of us fashion goers from Los Angeles and the house was chic and perfect for our needs. The bus stop ( which runs until 2am) was only steps from our place.

Would definitely stay here again! :)
