Overview

Paso Robles House Rental Photos and Description

Renovated 1930's Carriage House Tucked In The Rolling Hills Of Highway 46 West

Very cute and updated cottage tucked in the middle of wine country under beautiful oak trees and rolling hills. This cottage has a full bath (double stalled shower), living room, full kitchen, and 1 bedroom with new queen size bed. Cottage has amazing views of local vineyards and is only 2 miles from town and 15 miles to the beach.

This cottage was originally built as a carriage house in the 30's. Its a very unique, charming, quite, cozy place to stay. Ride your bike or drive to local winery's or take a 15 minute drive to the beach. We are right off Highway 46 West. Located in the 'Templeton Gap' you can escape the heat, guaranteed cooler weather here with a slight afternoon breeze from the coastal influence.

Free parking, out door space, BBQ, and gorgeous views. Less then 1 mile from Paso Port, Hunt Cellars, Niner Wine Estates, Eagle Castle, Fat Cat Farm, Lone Madrone Winery, Shale Oak Winery, Red Soles Winery, Linne Calodo Cellars, Turley Wine Cellars and many more.

Owners live on property but your stay will be very private. We have 2 ranch dogs, but they are very friendly.

Sweet cottage

  • 5 of 5

Darling little cottage -very well-equipped. Comfortable with lots of thoughful touches like the gas firepit for relaxing outdoors and a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks. Very unique - it's also possible to rent the rustic cabin across the way which was also really cute. John was very welcoming and we enjoyed meeting the black lab Percy as well (she paid us a visit in the morning). You will feel like you are far from things but just a minute to the highway. Great place to stay for visiting the Templeton/Paso Robles wineries.

Girl and Dog ....

  • 5 of 5

And so Jack the dog and I arrived at this comfy cottage on the hilltop for our first 10 day stop. We were met with hospitality plus, a cozy old world cottage with stone walls, a full fridge, views and proximity to many day trips of which there was a new one each day, and of course Percy, the canine ambassador who introduced Jack to goats. Having travelled extensively with and without VRBO, I would call this an authentic central coast experience and would look forward to returning.

Perfection

  • 5 of 5

Over the last several years my wife & I have rented homes throughout the United States, this rental being the smallest one. We usually stay in larger properties, but the fact that the cottage overlooked a vineyard won out. We couldn't have been more pleased. The cottage is an amazing place - we have never felt so comfortable from the second we walked in. It may be small, but we couldn't have asked for any better. Impeccably clean with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Waking up to that view of endless vineyards and the thoughtfulness of the owners will keep us coming back.

Wine Lovers Cozy Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The Carriage House is located near many wineries. It's about a 30 minute drive to the adorable town of Cambria (take a walk on the Moonstone boardwalk) and other attractions like Hearst Castle. It's private but there is a busy highway is close to the property. The cottage is sound-proofed so it was only a minor nuisance when we were outside enjoying the gas fire pit. They allow dogs upon prior approval. Great views too!
