Our little piece of paradise
With the most consistent (320-plus days of sunshine) weather in all the Hawaiian islands on the incomparable Kohala Coast, the Mauna Lani Resort is incredibly beautiful and well known as a Hawaiian cultural and historical center. We are adjacent to the complex's huge swimming pool (including a one-foot-deep wading pool for young children), lava rock waterfall, hot tub, and fitness center. In addition we offer access to Mauna Lani Resort's private Beach Club. The Mauna Lani Beach Club is on a protected bay with white sand and coconut palms. Great place to relax for an afternoon enjoying a good book, snorkeling or dining at the Beach Club Restaurant and bar. Don’t miss the peaceful walk along beautifully restored Hawaiian fish ponds.
We are walking distance from The Shops at Mauna Lani with Tommy Bahamas Restaurant, Ruth Chris Steakhouse, Juice 101, Just Tacos, Kimobean Hawaiian Coffee, Foodland Farms grocery store and many more!
This spacious 1290 sq. ft. unit greets you with a soaring 20-foot ceiling in its comfortable great room, fully furnished with a 42-inch flat screen TV. The stainless steel kitchen with granite countertops is fully stocked plus there is a washer and dryer for your convenience. The private shady lanai has a Viking built-in barbecue and bar sink.
Upstairs master suite has a king bed, downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. Having the bedrooms on separate floors allows maximum privacy. Upstairs master has an enormous bathroom; 2 sinks, jetted tub, and separate walk in shower. Both bedrooms have flat screen TV”s and are situated away from main living area. Main floor has a full bath too.
Keep your vehicle out of the sun in our attached garage while you explore the Mauna Lani resort on his and hers cruiser bikes. We also have pool toys, beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas for your enjoyment.
The Villa is only minutes to six award winning golf courses and the best beaches in Hawaii. It is a five minute drive to the Waikoloa Beach Resort; The Kings Shop's which includes upscale shopping and restaurants, and Queens Marketplace - a family friendly shopping, dining and entertainment complex.
We are a retired couple from Alberta, Canada who first fell in love with the Big Island in 2001, when we were here on a John Deere reward trip. Now, we share the paradise with our (lucky!) grandchildren and their parents.

After exploring other Hawaiian islands, we kept coming back here to the Kohala Coast. We are now happy to be the proud owners of a little piece of this paradise! We had a list of requirements when looking for a property and the Fairways at Mauna Lani checked off the most. No neighbors above or below, our own grill, garage, newer build and a beautiful pool were just a few.
Bev & Bob, had a great time & saw most of the west, south & North sides. Magic Sands is great for boogie boarding. The next beach south was very good for snorkelling. A wave tore the wrist lanyard out of the boogie board & had it replaced at Snorkel Bob's. Would highly recommend your place to ANYONE!

Just returned from our 3rd stay at the Little Piece of Paradise. This condo is very well maintained, clean and comfortable. I feel at home the moment I walk in. The condo has everything needed -- fully equipped kitchen(including spices-what a treat), washer/dryer, water sports equipment for the pool of the beach. It is in a nice quiet area. It has a beautiful, private lanai with an outdoor bar-b-que. A short walk takes you to the pool or a short drive takes you to the private beach club. A grocery store is nearby. Bob and Bev were great and made several suggestions for new sights to see and new restaurants to try. Sam Choy's happy hour in Kona is superb! Thanks for sharing your discoveries. Very well equipped, well stocked and very clean. Great lani and BBQ right outside the door. Close to the pool. Secure location. The bed on main floor was a little uncomfortable . Other than that a great condo.

One of the nicest properties in all of The Fairways. Very clean, well equipped and stocked and nicely decorated. Bev and Bob are very attentive and responsive to every need. Great beach accessories and lovely private patio.
I have stayed here a few times in the past and I love the location. Short walk to the ocean and access to the beach club as well as short drive in either direction to check out more beaches. We really appreciated not having to buy every spice for bbq. Owners are very helpful at giving advice or suggestions on sightseeing. There is still lots I haven't seen on the Big Island. If I am able I would go back every year and stay here again.
We would like to thank you Bev and Bob for providing a very relaxing and comfortable place while we were on the Big Island. The property is very centrally located for day trips, walks along the beach and sunsets at the ocean. This townhome is so very well equipped with all the necessities and more in the kitchen and bathroom right down to the bikes and beach supplies. We certainly enjoyed having brochures and information about where to eat and what to see provided for us. We would highly recommend choosing your townhome and cannot wait to return in 2016.
