"I don't really want to share this gem..."
But must compliment the owners for a fabulous property. My gal pals and I stayed in this home and we could not have been happier. The only problem was that we had too many activities planned. All I wanted to do was stare at the vistas and hang out on the balconies. The folks who met us as we barreled up the hill could not have been nicer!
We all loved the place, and it was cozy, clean, spacious, quirky, classy and more. The owners are very generous folks. Thanks again!
I live in cornville, and my family was here for a death in the family. Under such circumstances, we found the house to be a beautiful place to rest and reflect. It was just like a relatives home, so cozy and had all the comforts of home. We didn't have to think about anything, it was all right there in the house, with a beautiful view to top it off. We are truly grateful to Gretchen and her concern for us. She makes everything so beautiful and easy. I would recommend this house to everyone!!!
The decor of the house and location were just perfect for a little girls getaway. This would also be a perfect location for two to three couples to go away. Downtown is a short distance from the house, we chose to drive because we were shopping and the trek uphill would be no fun after hitting all of the wonderful shops. We liked it so much we were already planning our next trip as we were packing.
This home is amazing. We loved the older home charm with beautiful updates. The kitchen was so cute and it had everything we needed to stay in and cook. Each bedroom and bathroom are so unique and charming. We all slept great. The beds were awesome!! At night we walk to town and enjoyed the great restaurants and entertainment. The whole experience was excellent. We all live within 30 miles of Jerome and have decided to make this an annual get away!!
It all was very relaxing and easy to stay there..................Thanks Gretchen!!!
Everyone should visit Jerome, such a fun place! Zamar House was such a great place. Comfortable beds, great kitchen, beautiful outdoor areas with expansive view. The bathrooms were awesome, great showers, claw foot tub. Easy walking to great shops and restaurants. The property is well maintained and the outside lighting was great. The stairs leading downstairs can get a little slippery when wet. Would recommend with house for couples and families with older children because of all the steps. Gretchen was great to work with and was truly interested in making sure we had a great stay! We are planning to make staying at Zamar House an annual event.
We stayed for a girl's weekend and enjoyed wine tasting in Page Springs and Jerome - the house was amazing! All the charm of a home from 1902 with all of today's amenities. We loved being able to cook our own breakfast - the kitchen has everything you need and then some. The bedrooms (and whole house) are decorated so cute and fun. And the mattresses were outstanding, seriously, better than my own at home! We walked to town for dinner one night, jogged down to the park for a workout one morning and just enjoyed the beautiful views from the porch!
We stayed in Zamar house for a friends 50th birthday weekend. We had an absolute blast! The house is fantastic! We loved the layout, the decorations, and the wonderful touches throughout. Whoever did the remodel and the decorating deserve a gold star! The house is immaculate and adorable with a combination of old world charm, fun and funky decorations, and new appliances and technology. The beds were divine! Super comfy with beautiful linens. I highly recommend Zamar house!
