In looking at winter ski areas, one looks for a property near the slopes. This area is literally 2 miles from two ski areas. In the summer a great attraction is that it is walking distance to Big Bear Lake.
What we love about our chalet is the open space, the quiet calm area amidst pine trees and a sunny south facing deck over a seasonal creek...
We love that you can walk to the Big Bear lake using the boardwalk, walk to the snow park for the kids, as well as the convention center. And if you miss Starbucks it is a relaxing wonderful walk over the lakes' boardwalk!
