This chalet is in one of the nicest areas of Big Bear. 2 min walk to Snow Park, Convention Center and lake off Division St. The southernmost part of Division St. is a prestigious area. It touches Fox Farm and the exclusive Moonridge area of Big Bear. This serene retreat is very close to the lake, and ski resorts are just minutes away.
Our one story-home has 2 spacious bedrooms plus an exceptionally large living room with vaulted ceilings, dining area furnished and decorated in charming Big Bear Mountain style.
The kitchen has all the basics: microwave etc. Dining area is furnished with a wooden table and seating for 6 people. there is also a breakfast bar with seating for 3-4. Amenities include washer and dryer, wireless Internet and Cable TV.
The cozy living room has comfortable furniture, a huge fireplace and big flat screen adjustable TV. The first bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, soft arm chair and a huge mirrored closet. The second bedroom has a queen bed & twin bed, as well as a very large mirrored closet.
A large south-facing sunny deck at the front of the house perches over a seasonal creek, equipped with BBQ and deck furniture.
The property is within walking distance to the Convention Center, lake and Starbucks via the lake boardwalk. You can even walk to the local, wonderful farmers market on Tuesdays. Even though you surrounded by trees and mountains, you are only 5-7 minutes by car to all of the Big Bear Lake activities. If you are looking to get away from it all, this very bright sunny home has all you need. Perfect for a small family or two couples that want to experience Big Bear Lake at its best! No pets allowed.

In looking at winter ski areas, one looks for a property near the slopes. This area is literally 2 - 4 miles from two ski areas. In the summer a great attraction is that it is walking distance to Big Bear Lake.
What we love about our chalet is the open space, the quiet calm area amidst pine trees and a sunny south facing deck over a seasonal creek...
We love that you can walk to the Big Bear lake using the boardwalk, walk to the snow park for the kids, as well as the convention center. And if you miss Starbucks it is a relaxing wonderful walk over the lakes' boardwalk!
We had a lovely time in this little Chalet. The location is perfect. 2 minutes to the ski lifts, seconds to the snow play and Vons and Starbucks. Walk to the lake in summer. The owner is wonderful and always wants to know if there is any room for improvement. Thanks for giving us a wonderful New Years!
This house has a lovely, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and many personal touches attended to by the owner. All the rooms are spacious and comfortable but perhaps the best feature is the location. It is within easy walking distance ( 1-2 blocks) to the convention center with Starbucks and village shopping just a short drive away (1.5miles). The owner responded quickly to all contact before, during and after our stay and was VERY accommodating!
The owner of this cabin was great to work with - very helpful and nice! We had a group of volunteers stay together at the cabin and we plan to reserve it for our camp volunteers again next year!
This is a beautiful and cozy small home located near all the attractions. It's good for a small family of 6 people. The owner was very attentive in answering my inquiries about the house. However, since this property was just bought in the summer, I think there are still a lot of things that it should have to better accommodate the guests.

No board games for the kids or adults
TV is kinda too small for the big living room
Couch and sofa need to be replaced, the cushions were all flat
Kitchen didn't have enough salt or sugar, only came in small packets you get at the restaurants.
White towels provided looked old and dirty. The color was off white.
No trash bag was available, only small used plastic bags from grocery stores.
I would come back to this property if it improves by providing the guests with more amenities so they can feel like home.
This lovely Chalet is in located in one of the BETTER parts of town. Not ALL areas of the Big Bear Lake/City are in good neighborhoods. This chalet is up Division St. en route to the prestigious Moonridge area of Big Bear Lake.
The house is within a 5 min walk to the Snow Play Park, as well as the Farmers Market and also the Oktoberfest. This chalet has both location, as well as all the amenities one could hope for in a mountain resort.
