Located within the Mauna Lani Resort, The Islands at Mauna Lani is a private, gated community situated along the famed fairways of Mauna Lani golf course. Handsome townhomes set within gardens of flowering plumeria, hibiscus and ginger and tranquil ponds, The Islands at Mauna Lani offer the luxurious comforts of vacation living along with the amenities of a fine resort.

This two story vacation home is a 2 bedroom plus a loft with 2.5 bathrooms. Our home features King sized beds in dual master suites with private bathrooms and views of the golf course from practically every room. An upstairs loft includes a bunk bed for the kids. Each bedroom is furnished with a flat screen TV and the large open kitchen has dual ovens, granite counter upgrades, and a sub-zero fridge. There is also a half bathroom on the main floor for visitors. The crisp decor of the living room extends to the outside lanai perfect for family entertainment and BBQs. The home is fully air conditioned with open access to private patios through both of the master bedrooms. Breezes from the gentle trade winds will remind you that you really are in Paradise. For the exclusive use of Islands residents is a pool and recreation complex where water falls over a rock grotto into a free form swimming pool and including two entertainment pavilions, a whirlpool spa, full kitchen and professional quality, gas barbecues.

The outdoor Lanai is equipped with a BBQ, sink, and lots of seating space with views of the lusciously green fairway. Listen to the friendly morning chirp of the unique Island bird species while watching the sun rise over the horizon.

The Islands is located near the Mauna Lani Spa, the Beach, Golf, Tennis and Racquet club, the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel, the Fairmont Orchid Hotel, and the newly constructed Shops at Mauna Lani. Many of these facilities are located within easy walking distance.

This townhouse is owned by two close friends. We always loved taking trips together to Mauna Lani and decided that investing in a shared property would allow us to build many more amazing Hawaiian memories with each other and our families. Its only right to share it with you when we aren't using it!

Really, The Shops at Mauna Lani are the real reason people stay in this area. Its more than just shopping, its like a community with something for everyone! You get a relaxing resort getaway the convenience of The Shops and restaurants at walking distance.

What sets our property apart from the rest of the rentals in the area is the quality of the interior matched only with the breathtaking views from both of the master suites! Even the bathrooms are spectacular with soaking tubs and dual vanities! Because we both see the importance of having a well-equipped kitchen, we made sure to provide the best appliances for your use. But of course, with The Shops nearby you HAVE to take a night off of cooking to enjoy a nice dinner out while you are here!

FABULOUS TOWNHOUSE

We have stayed at the Islands many times, and we have found this townhouse to be perfect! It's really nicely appointed, great sheets and towels, TVs everywhere. There is everything you need in the kitchen, several sets of dishes and lots of cookware for those who don't want to pay Hawaii prices for dinner every night. There are beach towels, and other beach gear too. The bunk beds are kind of in a hall way, not really a room of their own so be aware if you have little kids. You can walk to the Mauna Lani spa (great treatments) and fitness center ($25 per day to use, ouch). The Islands has access to a private beach that has a wonderful little open air restaurant and great snorkeling, as well as beach chairs and shade. It's just a 5 minute drive or ten minute walk through the petroglyph park and the ponds near the Mauna Lani. Grocery store is minutes away and it has everything and more. It's a nicely luxurious town home in a great location.

We have stayed at The Islands for many years, and this home is by far the best! The owner has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The home is updated with a new kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an island. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and decorated, with comfortable beds. We will definitely return!

We found the townhouse to be excellent. Plenty of space to relax and unwind with another couple. We used the pool, a very short walk, we had the pool to ourselves. The beach was lovely and not crowded at all. We liked having the cooler, chairs, and snorkel items available. It was very quiet and private outside. We loved cooking our own meals every night. I highly recommend this property. Cookie and Donna were great to work with.

OUTSTANDING STAY

As the pictures show, the townhome was beautifully decorated and felt "new". There was plenty of room for our family of 5, including the 2 king size beds and bunk beds. The indoor kitchen & outdoor grill were put to good use and had everything we could ask for. Kids loved having their own TVs by the bunk beds. The garage included boogie boards and beach chairs which we used for our many trips to surrounding beaches. The Mauna Lani is wonderful, with a small beach within walking distance, fishponds, a pool/hot tub just a few min walk away, and a grocery store/restaurants within a few min drive. I'm confident whoever rents this townhome will really enjoy it (as long as you can walk up stairs), and am not sure what else we could have wanted. Huge rooms, peace and quiet, every amenity, private balconies, golf course views and tropical birds serving as our alarm clock... simply a wonderful week in paradise!

My family and I have been traveling to Hawaii for many years. We have stayed at a variety of different hotels and VRBO's. This condo has it all! It is extremely clean, well organized, and decorated exceptionally. In addition, the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect because you are close to shops, many wonderful restaurants, and a superb beach!! The condo offers a lot of privacy for people who want to relax and get away from all the noise. The owner has put a lot of effort into EVERY detail!! I will definitely be back to stay at this condo.

EXCEPTIONALLY NICE TOWNHOUSE

Four of my family stayed in Donnas' Townhouse last February into early March. We have all been to Hawaii many times and this was the most satisfying place we have ever stayed in. It was so private, quite and exceptionally well decorated. It looked even better then the photos and was spotless! Donna thought of everything you could possible need, down to sharp knives in the kitchen. The townhouse is within a very interesting and short walk to the beach past ancient fish ponds. The snorkeling in front of the beach club was great and so was the club. Nice food and good chairs to sit in on the beach. The pool is steps from the house and when we were there never crowded. At times we felt as if we had our own private pool and hot tub. Lucky us. The townhouse is centrally located on the Island, close to the best beaches and not to far from Kona or the very interesting North Island. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we have already made reservations for next year. I highly recommend this townhouse and must add that Donna was a joy to work with, prompt, through and very friendly.
