About David Cromar
We have lived in the Tampa area for 11 years and had always imagined owning a beach house. We finally made our dream come true when we purchased the Treasure Island property in 2011.
Why David Cromar chose Treasure Island
We chose the Treasure Island/St. Pete's Beach area because it is the widest natural beach on the Gulf with large sand dunes, and very few large high-rises to impede the sunset views.
There is a lovely board walk to take leisurely sunset walks or a daily run. The town center of Treasure Island with its clock tower marks the entrance to the area. Over the bridge, John's Pass, known for its shopping and waterfront restaurants, is minutes away.
Only 35 minutes to Tampa airport and downtown Tampa, TB Lightning hockey games, and 15 minutes to trendy downtown St. Petersburg, Ray's stadium for major league baseball and many golf courses.
What makes this bungalow unique
This property has one of the largest, private backyards in Treasure Island. Sitting outside in the morning with a cup of coffee and the sun shimmering off the ocean is a favorite time of day! Family and visitors enjoy watching the variety of birds that drop in and drink from the pool.
Dolphins often swim into the large canal where you can drop a line and fish off the sea wall. Spending a relaxing day at the beach is only a short 10 minute stroll. See the sites without jumping into the car by riding one of the beach cruiser bicycles or paddle the intercoastal in a kayak. The double hammock comes in handy after an exhausting day of suntanning.
