The property is gated and provides the convenience of a reserved parking space for your car. The community salt water lap pool includes two whirlpools, changing rooms and space to relax surrounded by immaculately groomed grounds with an abundance of fragrant island foliage. You will also find a lovely covered community outdoor/picnic area, complete with gas grills. For your convenience, access to an onsite 24-hour fitness center and business center is also included in your rental.

Across the street you will find the Hilton Waikoloa Village with spa, shopping, 9 restaurants, and the Dolphin Quest Learning Center. Our unit is next to the Waikoloa Beach Resort’s Beach Course opened by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. featuring a spectacular ocean front par-five on the 502-yard 12th hole. This course is literally carved from the lava flow. You are also within walking distance of the Waikoloa Kings’ Course designed by British Open Champion Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish.

Barry and Diane have been married for 35 years, and currently reside in the Chicagoland area. Barry is retired and Diane is an employed physician. They have one daughter, who is also a physician, and three grandchildren. They have been vacationing in Hawaii for nearly 15 years, and have decided that the Big Island is their favorite.

Several reasons. The property itself is beautiful, well kept, and very tropical. The pool is wonderful, kept pristine, and a gathering point for owners and renters. The Board of Directors has worked hard to not only maintain the property, but retain a community feel and pride of ownership. Owners actually know each other. There is an aloha spirit, in which everyone is ready to help each other out. The location is superb, resting between the properties of the Hilton and Marriott with all of their amenities, beautiful landscaping and endless views. The beach is one of the most picturesque in Hawaii, framed between historic fish pounds and a strip of beach, with all the ocean sports you could want. There are fantastic restaurants within walking distance, and even free entertainment at the Kings’ and Queens’ shops. Even the farmer’s market comes to you, being located in the Kings’ Shops each Wednesday! Shopping for groceries completes the picture, and the place is ideal for anyone who doesn’t want to mess with car rental or driving. For those who wish to explore the island, proximity to the hotels and nearby tour operators offers easy access to everything from touring a macadamia nut factory, to ascending the tallest mountain in the world (Mauna Kea) to seeing an active volcano.
Another aspect is the construction of the buildings, which was built to Japanese earthquake-proof standards, including solid concrete construction, which also makes the unit very quiet.
We were extremely pleased with this accommodation at the Vista Waikoloa. As soon as we walked in the door it felt like home. Great kitchen with all tools available for cooking. Nice wrap around lanai with a peak of the ocean, golf course, lava field and palms. Very conveniently located to "A Beach" as well as trails to other parts of the beach which will take you around the Hilton. We frequently saw whales at the end of the walking trail which was just across the street from our unit....10 minute walk! Next door is a nice little pub which allows families, and kings and queens market is only a 15 minute walk away for other restaurants and shopping. The beds were very comfortable for all of us, our master bedroom was very large as was our master bathroom. It has a separate soaker tub, stand up shower and double sinks. Our kids (14 and 17) enjoyed the privacy of their room just by pulling their doors closed, and they also had a washroom just outside their door. We enjoyed family movie night each night after busy days, as there were a nice supply of movies in the condo that we could choose from. The property also has a very large swimming pool which were great for doing laps, or just soaking on the side. The pool area was pretty well protected from the wind as it has palms and other plants all around the pool area. It also has washrooms, showers and two nice hot tubs in the pool area. We truly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this condo to all.
This is a very nice, comfortable condo with spacious living room, master bedroom and master bath. The kitchen is very well equipped for as much cooking as one would like to do. It is on the second floor of a three-story building, and has an elevator. It has a double terrace (lanai) off the master bedroom and the living room, which is very pleasant for eating, reading or observation. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. We didn't use the second bedroom, but it would be good for children, and has another bathroom next door. The condo is in close proximity to the Hilton Hotel, as well as two shopping centers and a good variety of restaurants. The pool area is very nice, with two spa pools. One can be as active or relaxed as desired. We enjoyed our vacation at Vista Waikoloa.
This condo was real nice. The sunsets awesome. We walked to snorkel every morning. Also the beach next door had turtles to see. The condo was homey. The bed was great. We liked the sheets so much that we went to Costco and bought some to take home with us. We will be upgrading to a King bed soon. I would recommend this place to anyone for relaxing and taking in the Aloha spirit. Thank you, The Carries
The condo was immaculate with plenty of space for four of us, two adults and two children, the lanai was awesome! Situated in a great spot with beaches and snorkeling close by, as well as a great selection of restaurants near by also!
Of the three different condos we visited during our last trip to the Big Island, this was the nicest. Very conveniently located to beaches, walks, and stores; and one of the best-equipped kitchens we've seen in a rental condo.
My wife and I were fortunate enough to begin our month long stay on the islands with two weeks at this very comfortable condo. This was the perfect spot to get acclimatized and unwound. The association grounds are beautiful and wonderfully well kept, with a fantastic pool/spa, excellent BBQ and outside dining pavilion areas. Atmosphere is friendly, laid back, quintessential Aloha experience. The condo itself is very well located for easy access to the best beach areas in the Waikaloa resort area, and is well appointed; nice kitchen, bathrooms, beautiful lanai. If we could just get the Hilton to turn off a few lights in their parking lot at night, this location would be perfect. We highly recommend this property to all travelers and we had a great time. Nearby Petroglyph fields—the trail starts at the shopping center and goes through the golf courses, swim with the manta rays in Kona, helicopter excursions, swim with the dolphins at the Hilton, zip-lining near Hilo, coffee & macadamia plantations, active volcano, lava tubes, deep sea fishing, whale watching, submarine excursions, star-gazing at Mauna Kea summit, orchid gardens.
