The views from this apartment are beautiful, but that was the only good part of this accommodation. Overall our stay in this building was extremely disappointing. There were a whole series of things that made it this way.

First, we were promised an apartment with a washing machine and microwave. Upon arrival, neither were in the apartment. We were told that the cleaners would do our laundry, but they refused to tell us how much it would cost beforehand. Right.

Second, upon arrival we were charged an "administration fee" that was not disclosed beforehand. Hidden charges. Nice.

Third, the apartment itself was dirty and musty. To be honest, it didn't look as though it had been cleaned before we came in. There was dirt all over the floor, dust on chairs and the whole place smelled very musty.

Fourth, two of the elevators in the building were out of service while we were there, so there were huge lineups to get upstairs.

There are many nicer places to stay in Cartagena. Don't bother with this apartment. Look elsewhere.
