This charming Victorian home was built in 1897. Located in the center of the Third Street Shopping District, your guests can spend their free time visiting the many unique stores that line the street. Popular local restaurants and pubs are just a few short blocks away. Downtown Marquette is just 6 blocks south.
Completely renovated, the home offers a big living room, formal dining room and a full kitchen. An enclosed porch and outdoor patio are additional amenities that your guests will enjoy. This beautiful space has ample room to sleep six making it perfect for families looking for affordable accommodations during their visit to Marquette.
A beautiful and comfortable home! Our first time staying here and will keep it as our top pick for places to rest and renew when visiting Marquette. After our adventures of ice climbing, ice cave exploring, snowshoeing and downhill skiing, the place became "home" to gather as a family, including our daughter who is a Junior at NMU. Will recommend this to others as a wonderful change of pace from staying in a hotel!
We've stayed here multiple times and as always it was very clean, nicely appointed and the owners are ready to help in any way they can. You're right in the middle of Marquette and within walking distance of all of the restaurants and breweries. Highly recommended and we will definitely be staying here in the future!
We had the pleasure of staying here for my son's wedding in December, 2014. Scot, the owner, was wonderful in accommodating our needs for the week we were here from South Carolina! Hosting a rehearsal dinner, we were able to accommodate 23 people, using another table and folding chairs in the dining room in which Scot provided. Sweet Basil catered our event (excellent btw), which was conveniently located next store. Since there was snow on the ground, it was easy walking to nearby places instead of taking out the car. The home's location is a plus! Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home!
We spent three weeks here and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The pictures of the apartment are accurate; what cannot be captured in the photos is the ideal location….close to everything Marquette has to offer. We would go back in a heartbeat. People with disabilities would not find it accessible as there are steep steps to get up to the second floor.
Our group found the house, location and overall accommodations top notch. Being in Marquette for Ore2Shore, the use of the shed to store our bikes, the central location to town and the amenities were perfect. Whether visiting for a long weekend, a bike race or a wedding, this rental would fit the bill.
We will most definitely look at renting again in the future.
Scott and Kay were great hosts and ensured we had what we needed while there. If you're thinking about staying in Marquette and want a perfect location to experience it all, this is your place.
This is a meticulously maintained and spacious rental in Marquette. We've stayed at a number of locations in the area and this is by far the best. This was our second time staying at this apartment and both times it has been very clean, nicely appointed and the owners are ready to help in any way they can. The location can't be beat as you are within walking distance of everything Marquette has to offer. Highly recommended and we will definitely be staying here in the future!
This is one of the few rentals that you can park your car for your entire stay and never use it. We are in the center of town. Within a 6block radius there are 13 restaurants, pubs, parks, antique shops and so much more.
